Excellent service Average food Comfortable seating This is Old Balaji with a new name and a new menu. Balaji was a personal favorite till before Covid. And was sad to see the decline in quality and service due to Covid. Chai Wyy is good for a quick snack. Or a platter with 2 or 3 curries. The food as I experienced was nice, not great not bad at all. Pani poori won the battle among the few dishes we tried Paneer Frankie was a decent paneer roll with mint chutney and onions. If you keep mumbai frankies in mind, then will certainly get disappointed, but otherwise it was good. Paneer makhani was good Saag paneer was average Chapati tasted freshly made. Overall good food The person on the counter was very friendly and warm. I added 1 star in overall review for him. Will try other items next time and report.

You've got to try this new spot for fresh, delicious Indian street food. Order a few dishes to share or a sandwich or frankie for yourself. A lovely couple run the place. They were helpful in recommending dishes and kind during our dining experience. Pictured below are the tava chicken pulao and a bhel puri chaat. The pulao was accompanied with raita. I've always loved bhel puri and this one did not disappoint. Excellent spices and heat were used and they harmonized well in each dish. We also ordered a samosa frankie (not pictured) and the samosas were delicious. The frankie came with some potato chips as well. We dined in, but you can also call for take out. I think this restaurant is an excellent addition to the area that will stand up well with the other restaurants and shops in this shopping plaza.

Chili chicken platter for $13, very delicious. I am of SE Asian heritage so Indian is my go-to comfort food. I do wish the rice came with it, but we ordered it on the side for $2 more. For "street" food it feels on the expensive side, but for how good it was I would deffo come back to try the tons of other options I don't typically see elsewhere. The mango lassi was $5 — more expensive than other similar casual places, but more mango-y and delicious than others for sure. High quality!! Will be back to support this family owned business, run by mom and dad in kitchen and college-aged daughter on winter break at the register.

The fact that they had so many 5 star reviews was kind of shocking to me and I was curious to see how the food was. I found them through a sign on the road close to their restaurant. Let me tell you, this place was super authentic. As a Mumbaikar, I’ve been missing chicken Frankie so much and I couldn’t believe how they got the flavor down. It was a 10/10! The only difference with the bombay Frankie and this one is that the bombay one is a heat of 10 whereas I didn’t find this one necessarily spicy which is totally fine. We also got the pav bhaji and chicken junglee sandwich and they were both so very good. The pav bhaji is more like the one you’d make at home so it wasn’t as buttery or “red” if you know what I’m talking about.

Overall my only hope for this place is that they keep up the quality because that’s what happens to a lot of restaurants in NoVA, they start off really strong and eventually the quality dies down.

I wish them nothing but the absolute best, they are family run. I hope they continue to be successful! Definitely coming back and telling...

I love going here because it tastes like home-cooked authentic indian food. It’s never greasy and they can customize to your spice level. And the chai? Perfect Punjabi chai (and I’m a big chai snob). These are the same owners as Balaji’s cafe now with a new menu that has a lot of delicious street food items and have included both veg and non-veg dishes. The owners are the most sweetest people you’ll ever meet. They treat every customer with deep respect and strive to make them happy. I was by myself and ordered their grilled paneer sandwich and an aloo parantha (bread with potatoes stuffed inside). He knew I wouldn’t be able to eat everything at once and offered to package half of the sandwich and the 2nd Parantha to-go. I was also offered additional fresh chutney and raita with my meal at no additional cost. And if you have a favorite dish that’s not on the menu? Call a day in advance and he’ll make it just for you. Its not fancy or upscale, but the food and service are top-notch. Highly recommend - and guarantee...

They have only been open for 2.5 weeks, but the place had lots of people in there already. We tried it as it was a new restaurant, and near where we love to get our daily coffee (Weird Brothers).

Very nice owner greeted us and took our orders. They are still getting things settled in the restaurant, but it is clean and a nice open atmosphere.

Parking can get tricky depending on the time of day you get there, but there is a lot available just you may have to walk a bit.

We tried the Chai Wyy kabob, the Pav Bhaji, the Pani Puri. There is definitely spiciness to the dishes, but very flavorful and good. You get a lot of food, so be prepared. Food is made to order so you may not get all your food at once, but it is brought to you hot and fresh. I also had the Mango Lassi and it was one of the best I have had in a long time. Very flavorful.

There are some kinks for them to work out, and I imagine they will just get better the longer they are open. We will definitely go again and we...
