I’ve been to this consignment store a few times, but it feels to me that you have to be the right color if you want great customer service. I get the occasional hi and that’s it, but yesterday was the tip of the iceberg. As I was gathering my clothes together not once did anyone come over to take my clothes to the dressing room cause they were busy chitchatting with another customer, it was 3 people working so I’m pretty sure someone could’ve came over to help. Once I tried my clothes on, blonde haired lady finally says can I take your clothes up to the register, I said yes. The lady is checking me out and saw someone she knew enter the store, she actually stopped what she was doing to describe the sales in the store and was walking away from the register, the woman who entered said you can help her first cause I’m pretty sure she was feeling some kind of way at this point. The associate actually got another associate to finish ringing me up so she can tell the new person about the sales. Worst customer service ever, from the time I walked into the store and while I was looking at clothes the associate talking about stealing and they have cameras, until me cashing out. If you own a store please treat everyone the same, this has put a bad taste in my mouth for this store, learn about customer service and treating everyone...

I've found AMAZING designer dresses at a fraction of their original cost. The clothes all look new too. They don't take worn or outdated pieces. The staff has a great eye for fashion and puts out great stuff. There is really good turnover too. From casual wear like jeans to warm cashmere sweaters and on the money work suits- this is the place I go. They sell terrific accessories as well and have even started selling top designer shoes. N'Used gives a very fair price when you sell your stuff with them. They have a big client list they email regularly which brings people in. As a consignor that's good because it means more turn over. They also have a $5 sidewalk sale every year where everything is just $5! The cherry on the sundae is the store mascot Huey. The sweetest horse of a dog you ever met. Cool people. Cool...
Read moreI recently cleaned out my closet of NWT (new with tags) and lightly worn clothing. In the past, I tried other consignment stores in the area, however almost all the stores keep your clothes if you don't come and pick them up. I was reluctant to try and consign again.
I met the Owner, Rosemary and told her my concerns. She reassured me that the store policy is that they will not keep your clothes and/or donate them if you don't come and pick them up. I then brought in some clothes and couldn't be more satisfied with Rosemary and her Staff. They are professional, helpful and fair.
i would also encourage you to check out the items they offer for sale. There is a wide selection of brands and items. Don't forget to check the sale racks at the back of the store. I hear the sidewalk sales are great, but unfortunately I keep missing them.
N'Used is a hidden gem on the Reston/Herndon line off of Spring Street.
