T.J. Maxx — Local services in Hickory

First I will start off with how I love the tj maxx store and the awesome deals they always have. Me, my sister and my little nephew visited this store a few days ago and my experience was AWFUL! These people followed us the entire time we were in this store. From the time we walked in the door a flock of associates came out of no where and everytime I look up they were looking at us. I was so disgusted.Atleast if you are going to watch me do it respectfully from a distance. I went to try on my clothes and a homosexual male came out of no where and was all in my face. He followed us to the dressing room where he told me to leave my purse outside of the fitting room like I was planning on stealing the items that I had. Even though him and the lady that worked in that section was right there watching the whole time and she knew how many items I had. We exchanged a few words because he was all in my face and I told him to get out of my face. I was so angry that this was happening that we put the items back that we were going to purchase and left. I cant believe that they treated us this way. I really really loved the things that I had but I refuse to buy ANYTHING from that location. They were out of line and I felt racially profiled and disrespected. Every time I think about it I get angry because how would they feel if they were treated as we were. You dont do that to people just because of the way they look or may dress.The TJ max in statesville is awesome. Ive never had this problem with them. They are always so nice and helpful. I will NEVER shop at the Hickory...

My father in law and mother decided to stop into this store tonight, which we are all frequent shoppers. PAUL, a horrific cashier decided to accuse my diabetic father in law of stealing an orange soda, which he doesn’t even drink because of his condition. When my parents asked for the footage of them “stealing” this drink, they refused and told them the people who have the footage “make their own hours” and were not on sight. This cashier is disgraceful and needs to be dealt with, and as a frequent tjmaxx shopper myself, it’s disgusting to hear this. The cashier didn’t realize that my step sister would soon be checking out after them, and decided to then trash talk my father in law and mother to her. This is absolutely appalling, and disgusting behavior. If this is how Tjmaxx allows their employees to be behave, it’s truly a shame. Do better, for the sake of how your customers...

If you like shopping for stuff in a store that has other people the old fashioned way before Amazon came along then this is one of the places that still has walls. Inside these walls are stuff. Stuff to buy and people that work there that sell. Sells people aren't actually on or for sell though. They actually get paid just to sell you stuff that you would probably not pay for if they weren't there. Warning the other non sales people there are actually there to buy all the stuff that you want to buy so the competition is fierce. So those ppl are your competitors and must be eliminated or they'll just be in the way of your shopping frenzy. Ok eliminated is might be a lil over kill so maybe just subdued or something... whatever...if all else fails just avoid them at all cost and shop on Amazon. *No monetarily compensation...
