I'm very picky about local Asian restaurants, but I really enjoyed my dinner from here last night. The prices are phenomenal - there are similar restaurants to this one in my area that are way more expensive with way less quality food. I got a full hibachi meal and a sushi roll to try, and paid a grand total of like 15 dollars. That's unheard of. What's more is that the food was excellent overall. My Philadelphia roll was delicious and flavorful and had that clean, simple composition that good sushi should have. I got it to sample, but ate all of it because I just couldn't pass that up! The hibachi was good as well, and a very generous portion. The vegetables were delicious: perfectly cooked and well seasoned/sauced. My only critique whatsoever was a common problem I run into when ordering hibachi at most places, which is the chicken being overcooked. But that's what shrimp sauce (was which fantastic here) is for, so it wasn't a deal breaker. I did takeout this trip, but will absolutely be going to dine in soon. For the price and the quality, this is a great new spot! Update: the chicken has very much improved, as has my rating!

Loved the food and the service! Called in a fairly large to go order, and everything was ready within 15 minutes. I had hibachi chicken and steak with noodles and an added side of rice. People in our group also had the hibachi shrimp and scallops, sesame chicken, an egg roll, a happy roll (sushi) and the chicken tonkotsu ramen. Everything was very good and the portions were huge!! Their white sauce and ginger sauce cups are also massive lol not the little cups most places give you. The staff were very kind and the restaurant seemed very clean and well put together. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back!

I have drove pass here for a couple days and decided to try the restaurant for lunch. I order sushi and a few appetizers. I enjoyed it so much I ordered it again for dinner. I ordered the orange chicken with noodles and a few appetizers for the family. The price is reasonable compared to the near by sushi restaurant. The service was great. I would recommend for a quick meal or dinner the family.

First time dining here. Very clean and you can tell the owner takes extra care of this establishment. I ordered the Filet and Jumbo Shrimp and a California Roll. Came with hibachi style rice and veggies. Broccoli zucchini onions and sliced carrots. The flavor was very good One of the better Japanese dishes I've had. The shrimp were cooked very well.. The steak was prepared very well but I could tell it wasn't 100% fresh. Probably because I was dining in Monday morning after a weekend. Even though it was better than 70% of the other restaurants I've ate Japanese at. They're white sauce was very delicious I had a good texture and went well with the meal. I asked for Ginger sauce and it was also very well it was textured and not soupy like you find at some places. Great flavor. All in all this Carolina Sakura ranks up there and the the top. I will certainly dine here again. And if the filet is a little bit fresher I will rank it a...

Me and my fiancé always eat here. BUT the day before yesterday we went and had sushi (shrimp tempura) (fully cooked sushi no raw meat) and a hibachi chicken meal.

We haven’t eaten anything other than that (meaning we’ve ate at home or normal stuff ever sense and prior to)

We have both been puking non-stop since about 2 hours after eating there. So something wasn’t cooked thoroughly either the chicken or the shrimp.

Not to mention the lady is always rude when taking your order. And doesn’t come and ask you if you need anything for the remainder of the stay.

We normally love this place even with the statement above^ and dull atmosphere. But we will no longer be returning to this location.

Edit: if there was a (cleanliness) option for rating it would be 0 as it has gotten very nasty over the last year and seems to not ever have any cleaning done other than wiping...
