Greenhouse Loft — Local services in Highland Park

My mother had suddenly passed on 2/12/25 and my sister and I were scrambling to find a venue for a celebration of life. We did not want her memorial to be in a funeral home or in some dark rental hall. They always seemed so dour and depressing which is not who my mother was at all. My husband found Greenhouse Loft when researching and I fell in love with how light it was. The large windows allowed so much natural light throughout the day and we could not help but take pictures when setting up! The space is beautiful and such a DIY. It was easy to make the space yours! The space definitely felt more like my mom - it was warm with so much light. Veronica made everything such a breeze - from the booking, to logistics, to the set-up and decor. She was so accommodating and understanding of our situation. We felt very taken care of. It also felt like it was meant to be since we were lucky enough to snag a last minute booking the week prior!

The space itself is an industrial loft type vibe. There are 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette for food prep. 1 Bathroom is very roomy with large mirrors. My sister and I were able to get ready in there at the same time with a 3rd person before heading to the church for memorial mass after setting up the venue. There is an area for hanging coats at the bottom of the stairs which was super helpful in February. The stairs in itself was not super challenging but for those who need assistance - it's definitely doable unless you are wheelchair bound. There is a fire escape door that must be unlocked at all times. My concern was that we were having younger kids present and I didn't want them to be going out there without supervision. Veronica demonstrated it to me that it required adult strength to open so I felt better after seeing that. We were also able to rent linens through Veronica which she set up along with the tables and chairs the night prior to our event. There was more than enough room for a grazing table, buffet area, and drink area. We had a guest count of about 80-100 and it fit everyone comfortably!

This is a great space. Downstairs in the antique market. Not upstairs this is all downstairs. Its Pretty cool on what it is used for. Pop up flea markets are great so much to see and so much to buy. Its pretty perfect. This is the type of place you keep coming back too because of whats in store and out. I like the events that take place here too. Its a perfect place to come to on a Saturday or Sunday when the kids are at the baby sitters or at Grandmas house. But if your the type or parent that likes to bring the kids along the more the merrier. It is a kid friendly environment and pets are welcome as well. 5 stars...

My wife and I held our wedding reception at Greenhouse Loft and it was absolutely perfect. Veronica was a complete professional throughout the planning stages and carefully helped us organize an appropriate table/chair arrangement for the day. The onsite amenities are great--especially the large glass windows for natural light, multiple bathrooms, and Apple Airplay for music (who needs a DJ!).
