This review relates to food truck Thursday's at ravinia. I don't do many negative reviews but stay away from the tent they have at food truck Thursdays. I wanted to try something different and they had advertised steak kabobs they were grilling and they looked great. For 15 dollars it sounded fantastic along with a small salad that came with it. Well small was the best way to describe everything. You got a very small pita sandwich with very little meat. Like a couple of pieces. Salad was not only small but did not taste good at all. Steak was tough. I haven't been to their market or used catering. If this is how they run their business in other areas I don't plan on ever using them. I will go back to my standard of the place called lunch box with great beef and large portions for a much lower price, better quality, better taste and definitely larger portions. Delicious fresh kosher meats, plus a large selection of frozen kosher home-made food products like wonderful soups, meat-tomato spaghetti sauce, chicken fingers, etc. Also, a small deli counter with freshly sliced-to-order corned beef, salami, etc., home-made delicious hot dogs, salamis, chopped liver, cole slaw, etc. The people are helpful and friendly.
