Dreaded writing this review because I'm still taken aback. I've gone to Marivel's for years as does my partner (Avellan) and family. I used to recommend them to everyone I knew. I put my order in from Europe for Father's Day and was guaranteed delivery on Sunday. I understand if you cannot fulfill orders past a certain point, but customers should be alerted beforehand. My receipt stated delivery for Sunday. I called from Europe to my dad's place to see if his 'present' had arrived. Due to the time difference, I called Monday morning again. I wanted to give Marivel's the WHOLE DAY to deliver because I had used them in the past. It turns out, they never got delivered. I emailed them Monday morning 7AM EST from Europe. Attached are pictures of my receipts and email. They ignored my email and DELIVERED IT ANYWAY MONDAY EVENING AT 6PM and my father was not home, my mother was. I was disappointed because it defeated the purpose of Father's Day flowers. My father has been battling health issues and I was hoping their car flowers would raise his spirits. Being overseas, I couldn't call and I knew I would deal with them when I came back [b/c they don't respond to emails either]. I drove to the store after my trip. The manager was not there and I was told from another employee, "Yes the email. But the flowers got delivered right?". SO NOT THE POINT. Then I was told the manager would call me back. When the manager called she was rude and unprofessional. She said "But we did our job, why are you calling now". Eventually, the manager hung up whilst saying, "I hope your refund makes you happier, richer, etc". Your job is not to deliver flowers whenever you please, it's at the request of the client. I am sorry to say that I will NOT go back here again. It's a shame because they could have handled this in a way that made both parties happy but instead you decided to make an unpleasant situation much worse. Read moreEdit: I went back to the florist on Saturday to fix the arrangement and it came out beautiful. The florist was nice and the changes were made without any extra cost. My mother loved it.

I decided to buy flowers for Mother's Day from Marivels. I was a bit apprehensive because I've never bought flowers from here but the reviews from other people looked promising.
When I went to pick the flowers up from the store, I was in a bit of rush and didn't really take the time to look at the flowers properly. Once I got home, it was hard to not be disappointed with what I got.
I ordered the Teleflora Send Sunshine Bouquet because yellow is my mom's favorite color. The flower arrangement was described as "Yellow spray roses, yellow alstroemeria, green carnations, miniature yellow carnations and green button spray chrysanthemums are arranged with grevillea and variegated pittosporum. Delivered in Teleflora's Vintage Butterfly Cube".
The arrangement I got had light green alstroemeria, no minature yellow carnations, no green carnations, and no grevillea. They also put in this green puff ball-like plant, which was a bit jarring to look at.
Additionally there was a bug-eaten leaf that was in the back of the arrangement, though that could be purely accidental.
I understand that certain flowers may be out of stock/out of season, however that should be communicated with the customer. While there's nothing inherently wrong with light green alstroemerias and green ball plants, that's not what I ordered nor what was advertised.
