I went into Gimre shoes in hillsboro with my mom for her to get fitted for some new supportive shoes. Kelly S. helped my mom get a new pair of stable and supportive running shoes to help her with plantar fasciitis. I was not planning on looking at shoes but I wanted to get some new Superfeet brand orthotics. I was helped by Kelly also. I ended up getting some new New Balance running shoes after realizing I could use some better supportive shoes to take care of my feet. These new shoes feel great and I am not having any heal pain like I was having. I have since recommended Kelly to another friend that went in and purchased some new shoes and orthotics and loves them. Kelly is so kind, patient and knowledgeable about what we needed. She took her time and was very thorough with making sure we were happy and felt great! I would definitely recommend this shoe store to anyone looking to get a great shoe and some knowledgeable advice about what you need for your feet and patience and caring in...

I've had 2 very positive experiences at Gimre. On both occasions I brought my puppy into the shop with me (they are dog friendly). They brought out treats for my pup, and I really appreciated that they special ordered Keen shoes in a size that fit me. They called me when the shoes were in, and I also was fitted for a more comfortable work shoe that felt so much better to stand in than my previous worn out pair. Their prices are very reasonable for the higher quality shoe - as a reference, my work shoes w/ their insoles were $175 & the Keen sandals were $120. I know both brands will last at least 2 years. They said that they donate old shoes, which is great! They offered my pup water & welcomed me back soon.

Kelly is AWESOME!!! I've had problems with my feet/knees/ankles/low back for years and she spent 2 HOURS helping me find something that actually fits and doesn't hurt me! This women has the patience of a saint! Not only that she explained WHY the super feet inserts help and the effects it actually has on your body when you feet aren't aligned. After finally finding me pair (HIGHLY recommend the Clifton 9's) I found I was no longer in pain and that I wasn't slouching and actually taller because my whole body was aligned! Crazy how I suffered for years and turns out there was an easy fix! I love the whole crew too, super sweet people! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, and a MILLION times better than going to a large chain store!
