Hilton Head is very beautiful. I understand why the advertisements are kept to a minimum. People need to remember, if you want to eat Dinner somewhere get a reservation. If you're going to the lighthouse, you'll have to pay a $6 toll to get on that part of the island. Bikes are a wonderful necessity and the longer you rent the better the deal. We stayed in palmetto dunes area & even tho our experience with the rental agency was less than expected, (the villa leaked when it rained & was repetitively given the wrong code to get in) it was a nice villa....
