Customer service was extremely poor today. As I stood in line with several people today( 1pm). We listened to a frustrated cashier (#2), and a customer, bicker back and forth over a price. I am in there often enough to know the cashier is new, and unfortunately, she did not handle the situation properly. Although she may have been frustrated, her lack of professionalism was inappropriate. The customer was frustrated as well, but the cashier needs to be retrained on customer service etiquette. The frustration on the part of both parties, filtered over to the next cashier (#1), which distracted her from taking care of the customer in front of her. Which in turn made the slow moving process even slower. I have been a Burlington customer for MANY,MANY years, and shop at several locations, and it is one of my favorite places to shop. I know there is always room for improvement, and often times, in the height of frustration it is hard to be objective, and this is why I decided to comment, hopefully to help the process improve. Read moreThis store doesn’t even deserve one star, the coworkers are wonderful but the management is HORRIBLE!!! I had recently bought a pair of shoes from here for my daughter for Christmas they were rung up with no tag. They had called someone out on the floor to read them back a sku number to be ringed up now if I thought I would have a hard time returning them without a tag I would have done something then and there. Well the girl mentioned if we wanted a phone number associated just in case we need to bring something back so I said definitely just in case I got the wrong size. Well turns out the manager couldn’t do anything for me although I had a number and card on file she couldn’t exchange them. But days before was able to get something exchanged by the employee. Long story short dont ask my for my number if I won’t be able to use it to bring an item back. On top of everything she used the no tag as my fault 🤦🏻♀️ and for the reason why she couldn’t return it. Read moreI truly love the store in Hiram. Great prices...very clean...and the bathroom was so nice and clean. Thank you. The check out lady I had didn't seem to even want to look at my face, but I made her. I talked and smile and joked some and soon had her doing the same. Ok Now for the reason I'm writing. I'm 72 and had many heavy bags to get home. I put them back into my buggy and started walking out. I wasn't aware you werent suppose to take the buggy past the door. This crazy thing started happening and my buggy locked and it wouldn't roll across this crazy matt thing. After trying for a while to get the thing to roll I heard someone yell at me ...You can't take it outside!! No one walked over to help. I couldn't get it out of the doorway so I had to pick up all my bags the best I could and leave. It would be nice if the check out would remind folks of this as they are ending...
