Cornerstone Pets — Local services in Hoboken

Love, love, LOVE this place! We are 1st time owners of two rescue kitties, and everyone here has been so helpful with our new adventure. Once we were approved by the rescue organization, the cats were brought to us without a ton of warning, so we had very limited time to get supplies together for their first night. I ran into Cornerstone about five minutes before closing (and I have worked retail for YEARS, so I KNOW how very obnoxious it is when a customer comes in when you're trying to close up). At any rate, I explained the dire circumstances to the staff, and they gave me valuable advice on food, treats, litter, everything! I left there fully stocked and ready to go for our first week with the new kitties, and honestly it was all very reasonably priced. Wonderful little (from the outside, go in and you will be surprised) pet shop tucked in on the side street. Came upon by surprise because of a sign that was posted up the block from the shop. A little sign advising anyone walking with a dog that Cornerstone has a doggie cooling station (child's pool which is shown set up in the pictures). What a GREAT idea !!! It was hot out there that day, especially for our 4 legged hairy family members. The shop itself was a complete surprise. From the outside it looks small, but when you go in you'll see that they have maximized their space well. Great service and great products! Just what you want in your local pet store. The people are super friendly and always love seeing your dogs when you walk in. When we first got our pup they were so helpful in finding the right stuff for him and helping us out as we were first time dog parents. They even helped us find the best dog walkers (definitely ask them for recommendations!!) Even now after we've moved away from Hoboken we come back...
