I only give it a 3 star due to them being open to 8pm on a Sunday and also because the lady that gave me the massage was really nice. When I went in I just felt rushed even though they were not full or had people waiting. The removal of my previous gel was painful on the cuticles, they had the machine too close and sometimes I had to stop myself from pulling my hand back.

I had two technicians take care of my nails, the first one was very apathetic and did not really made me feel welcomed. He also cut my nails when I only said for them to be filed. I usually go to another Nail Salon in Hoboken but that Sunday I had run late and my spot had closed shop already. In previous visits to my nail salon my gel nails maintained for 2 weeks and did not have chipping problems. After I came here my gel came out after 1 week and a half and also my nail began to break very close to the base.

I was growing out my nails with my usual nail salon and now they have all had to be cut down because my nail just gave out. I do not know if it’s the treatment of this place on my nails or the way they did my gel polish. I’m not sure but now I have no gel polish and really short nails after only one visit to this place. I don’t usually write reviews but I felt compelled to do so after my visit for a pedicure this morning. Jennifer did my pedicure and she didn’t seem to be in best of mood but let’s chalk that up to it being Monday morning. I specifically asked her if regular nailpolish would work with the shoes I have on (leather flats) and she said yes. She recommended that I let my nails dry for 15 mins. but I choose to get some extra drying time so I sat for 20 mins. As soon as I started walking I felt the nail polish being sticky. Long story short, the polish didn’t stay at all, got sticky and messed up the inside of my shoes. So I walked a block to my apartment and decided to go back to have the polish removed. I got a gel manicure for the first time here last week and it was the worst manicure I have ever gotten in my entire life. I cant speak for the entire staff, but the nail tech Lili was extremely rude to me. She rushed the appointment and cut me on both of my hands so badly that they bled & she was not apologetic at all. Then when it came to painting my nails and putting them under the UV light, she was forcibly pushing my hands away from her when she was finished painting to signal that I needed to put them in the light. If there hadn't been a woman getting her wedding nails done sitting next to me, I would have confronted the tech because I have never been treated so badly at a nail salon in my life, but instead I payed and left quietly.
