Multiple pharmacy techs are racists. Got endless list of micro-aggressions, including but not limited to being baby-talked or slomo-talked, interrupted mid-sentence, and asked to pronounce my simple name over and over again while holding my ID in front of their eyes. One of them even tried to escalate simply because I had a NJ State ID, acting like I’m an illegal with a forged ID. She also tried to unilaterally make med choices for me and I had to call my doc to call the pharmacy to settle the dispute. I’ve been in the States for over a decade in total in academic and professional capacity so it’s not like my English is lacking. I’ve been only using the location because it is the closest CVS. The actual pharmacists here are actually very nice, courteous, and knowledgeable, but at the end of the day you’d interact only with the pharm techs unless you go counter-Karen against them and ask for their managers; at that point, why...
