The owner, Rich, is incredibly rude and a horrible person to deal with. His team completely botched a window installment and he refused to do anything about the situation. Furthermore he refuses to use email or any other digital means to communicate. Rich's refusal to do business the right way should scare every customer away. Wish I could give no stars.

I've just received notice from Google that my review has been viewed 1000 times. For those who will read in the future please consider what I've written. I stand by my opinion. It took a year for the owner to post a reply to my negative review That in of itself says plenty. Notice, the owner did not address the fact his crew botched the job and caused structural damage to the area around the window. Furthermore the owner did not honor a warranty when the window they installed broke. I'll never forget the owner's response, "windows are guaranteed to break". Hoboken Glass has been servicing and helping residents at the James Monroe Condo Building in Newport for many years. Despite their busy schedule, they have been very kind and attentive to our needs. For example, they successfully and professionally replaced the rollers of my sliding windows years ago and I recently called them again to replaced all the rollers. They were kind to explain how busy they were, but they guaranty that they come and replace them for about same price when they first did it. I find them very professional, reasonable and this explains how they managed to be in business for over 50 years. Chris has been the best guy to deal with based on my experience. After the arctic blast and single-digit temperature hit our area, one of my bedroom windows developed a crack that went right through the length of the glass. My property manager recommended reaching out to Hoboken Glass Co and I spoke with Tom after giving them a call. He was able to have an initial assessment visit scheduled to take a look at the damage and take a look at the damage. While here, the team was also able to take out my broken window screens to have them repaired and also noted that the balances in the window frames needed replacing. They had the glass pane ready within a week, and Tom and his team were able to replace the window and get the screens and balances put in within an hour.
