We were here to watch my step daughter to perform. I believe this lady whose name is Chase (not sure about it because she never introduced herself) was kind of rude to us. We brought our 14 months old cause I believe she wanted to see her sister performs too and don’t get me wrong I have no experience of watching a kids show. So this lady Chase gladly took our money for tickets and didn’t say anything when we checked in. But once everyone sat down. She called us out by asking who brought a little one here today. And went on with her speech about how she never saw someone bring a baby to a show and how this will affect the kids performance. I would appreciate it if she told us this at the gate privately instead of giving a speech about it. So I left with my daughter the moment she started to make a noise. I just feel like this could have been handled nicely. But the thing that bothered me the most was this lady Chase called my step daughter “the quiet one” when she asked us who we were here for. One day, in 4th grade, I came across "Hoboken Children's Theater", a small business in Hoboken that is focused on improving the acting skills and performance of little ones to teens. My parents signed me up, and I was just in awe of how much I improved. The staff is amazing, and they always have the best tips and notes. Not only do they improve you drastically if you are interested in acting or not, they make you have a lot of fun while doing it. I continued going for a few years and I still do it today! I recommended it to my friends, even the non-theater ones, and they loved it! Would highly recommend for anyone of any skill level....

My daughter LOVES attending classes at HCT! She looks forward to her class all week and literally sets a timer so we are not late!
The classes and staff have provided her with a special super power - confidence! The children practice together signing, acting and dancing, this creates a team. Team building is an invaluable life skill.
This past week they had a performance…. It was exception! The set, the lighting, the music, the costumes and most of all the cast - everything was AMAZING!
Thank you HCT for providing such a special program for our children!...
