Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps is one of the best and highly in demand Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Their EMT staff are professionally trained caring individuals!!! They receive many calls for services throughout the day for a number of various emergencies . I am truly grateful for their service, staff and professionalism. My grandfather died on Saturday due to the ineptitude and lack of professionalism of these people. It took 4 people to get one 89 year old man out of a house and he was on the first floor. Not to mention they didn’t notice they lost his pulse until the finally got him in the ambulance. They had no idea what equipment they had or needed and they had no idea how to handle the situation. One man in particular was extremely rude to me as I sat in the front watching Jersey City paramedics try to get a pulse. I will make It my life’s mission to have them permanently put out of service. Hoboken EMS gets a bad rep but in my experience they go out of their way to help their observers and EMT's. Many of the EMT's also help answer any questions the observers have. Unfortunately, there are a few EMT's that don't do anything to help Hoboken's reputation but eventually they get canned for being unprofessional.
