The lunchtime class on Tuesdays with Venus as the instructor is always outstanding. I started attending Ken Pilates this past fall as a form of physical therapy to strengthen my core muscles, as well as glutes and hips. I’ve noticed a marked difference for the better in terms of strength, which is helping me maintain a high level of activity in other areas. My posture has improved as well. I’ve made this a part of my weekly routine and I’m so thrilled that the studio opened up here on Washington Street last summer. The springboard is very amendable to individual strength level (just walk further away for more resistance/to make it harder, come closer to make it easier). The teachers are great. The vibe is super cute you feel like you're in this secret cool girl garden apartment with a great playlist. It is easy on the knees and joints but I still sweat & get out of breath!
