Big EZ Mart — Local services in Hochatown

I don’t even like going into this Ez mart anymore because I went in there one time on a hot summer day it was in the month of June 2025 I go in there to get a Pack of cigarettes and some gas. I tell the guy at the register that I’m gonna pay for them separately because the cigarettes were for my friend not me. It was an older Indian dude with a ponytail and wears glasses when I get up to the counter, I tell him that I need two 22 red shorts he goes over there and looks for them and then I say I’m sorry my bad I meant to say 72 red shorts and he sighs at me and then brings the cigarettes back to the register only one of them, so I tell him I need another one of those, and he sighs at me again so he goes and gets the other pack comes back to register and asks me for my ID I give it to him. He scans it and then he throws my ID on the counter. He doesn’t even hand it back to me, anyway I go to pay for the cigarettes and it was 21.19 or something like that. I had a $20 dollar bill a five dollar bill and some ones So I hand him the 20 and the five And he says to me, you have some ones there don’t you rudely, and I say yes, I do so I go to hand him one of the one dollar bills and I’m pretty sure he sighed at me again for like 3rd time So I say you don’t have to be an A-hole about it and when I said that one of the other guys at the register said what? And then I said to the Indian, dude I know you hate your job, but you don’t gotta take it out on me So then they both tell me take my money and get out like I was the one that was in the wrong. I wish I could give them no star...

Stopped at this gas station for a quick drink like anyone else, but were immediately met with discriminatory behavior. The attendant singled us out, claiming he wouldn’t sell to us because we didn’t have IDs—even though we did. Meanwhile, we watched him serve other white customers without issue.

When we decided to return the drinks due to how we were being treated, he escalated the situation by threatening to call the Sheriff. It was an obvious act of racial profiling, and incredibly disrespectful. No one should be treated this way because of their ethnicity.

This place does not deserve your business—especially if you’re Hispanic or a person of color. Completely...

Gas pumps RARELY ever have receipt paper. I work in the area and need receipts every time I go here and always have to go in to the clerk. Looks rude but I'm not moving the car until I get back with the receipt as a result. Also, everything's super expensive and to get a cheaper stuff that's not insanely ridiculous they expect you to download a reward app and let them track crap on your phone and slow it down I'm sure. Even then the prices aren't good but without that I've walked out almost every time and I'm not getting a reward card. I'll go hungry first. Management must be horrible. I got a couple hotdogs once and they were horrible. I just don't go in and look for...
