Silver Dollar Lodge — Hotel in Hochatown

Our first time at the Silver Dollar Lodge and it did not disappoint! Perfect luxury cabin for our family with adult children. The cabin actually looks better than the pictures. And yes, I’m very particular about housing accommodations. 😊 The lake and other fun activities are close by! The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need to cook. Crockpot, toaster, Keurig, coffee pots, tons of silverware and other cooking utensils. Huge common area with island, large dining and tv room. Our boys loved the games upstairs. The hot tub, sitting areas, fire pit and play area for our grandkids topped it all off! There is also a full bathroom next to each bedroom. We make at least one big family trip to Hochatown every year and have rented many different cabins. This was BY FAR our favorite. The space between the kitchen, dining area and living area was perfect for our group of 15. The kids loved the upstairs game room and balcony. The adults loved that every family had their own bathroom. Just the overall layout of the house on the corner property was great. The hot tub on the back porch was perfect after the cold morning run around the neighborhood. Definitely doesn’t hurt that the outside TV was in full view from the hot tub. Our stay at the Silver Dollar Lodge was STELLAR. Every bedroom was just gorgeous and the master suite was amazing! We did everything from playing games at the huge kitchen table to watching movies in their spacious living room to making s’mores, enjoying the hot tub and watching basketball outside in front of the fireplace. The location was perfect - east to get everywhere. Don't look any further. This is the place to stay! Silver Dollar Lodge was so well equipped! We used the grill, the waffle iron, the griddle.
