Cornbread Trading Company — Local services in Hochatown

Place was pretty awesome. Had a genuine old timey mercantile/general store offering Blue Rooster branded (the restaurant next door I assume is owned by the same people) merch and a variety of bespoke, conscious modern day sundries from quality earth conscious companies. The owner has impeccable taste and it shows in the wares offered here. Unfortunately, I left to eat lunch and when I came back they were closed. Wish they had an online store, but I suppose it might detract from the authenticity & genuine nature of the shop's soul....

I waited in the parking lot for it to open. The day before the lady told me they opened at 11. I came at 11:30. Watched the lady flip the open sign at 11:55. Walked up but the door was still locked. Went back to my car to wait. Tried agian at 12:15. Still locked? I left really wanted to go in because the day before as I walked in at 3:55 she told me I would have to come back. 😔 Just really...
