As a golfer, the challenge of the mini golf course was incredibly appealing and as a group we thoroughly enjoyed our experience thru nine holes. We had four adults playing and two young children also playing (ages 4 and 7). We also had the grandparents along who were watching from the patio which was well designed and overlooked the course. Since it was a Monday afternoon, there was only one other group playing in total. It was at that point that a manager who was evidently watching via video camera came over to scold us for letting the kids play a hole or two ahead of us - they also had walked on the rocks which evidently is an issue. As an FYI, it is essentially impossible to stay off the rocks for kids and adults alike. Secondly, our kids were not being a nuisance to the other group and we had six sets of eyes on them. So, we ended up asking the grandparents to take the kids back to the cabin after paying $15 EACH for them to play a total of nine holes. Overall, it turned what started out as a good experience into a bad one. To clarify, we were not asked to leave nor were our children. It just seemed like a very unnecessary approach to ruin what was otherwise a good time that we had going for...
Read moreI gave 3 stars because it's a nice enough course and people. But terribly designed. The course has no walls, which is fine, challenging at first impression. But the green is made of a kind of rubber composite material that sends almost every shot rolling off into the rocks (which we were told to stay off of) or into the next players. And the seemingly clever curves of the course don't matter- the ball just rolls over them. None in my group were experienced golfers, and we came with the goal of just killing time and goofing around. But the impossible game play both discouraged kids and beginners, and frustrated experienced golfers (each in respective, separate groups near us) The course also bunches up groups just due to the pointlessness of the game, causing periodic waits mid-game even though everyone is following the 6-stroke limit. I think a few barriers and some good old fashioned turf could solve the problems. But at $20/adult, not worth it right now in my opinion. By the 18th hole we just wound up taking the stroke limit and dropping our ball by hand in the ball return, whipped. There are other places to play mini golf that you'll have more fun visiting in BB,...
Read moreLike others have said it's overpriced at $20 per person, and in my opinion it doesn't really have any kind of big advantage that would justify the premium it charges over other nearby courses. They seem to have a lot of rules also, and there are porta pottis instead of regular restrooms. There are no walls or barriers to bounce your puts off of, so you will go out of bounds on nearly every hole unless you are an expert level putter. It's difficult to the point where beginners will likely be discouraged by the time they are about half way through. It was fun to come here once but I probably wouldn't come back again unless they lowered the price or put more interesting features in the course. You may be better off trying somewhere else, especially if you're...
