Where do I even begin. I came here to get a removal of a gel pedicure as well as a new pedicure with regular polish (which I picked out a regular polish for). Any other salon I have ever visited used a nail dremel to remove the top layer of gel before soaking but the lady insisted on using a regular file which was very painful because it was constantly scratching my skin off too. When she was trimming the cuticle she cut my big toe, which was in pain the rest of the time. I asked her to not worry about the cuticles after that. However she continued to do it on the other foot even after I reminded her I didn’t want it done. She didn’t even bother trimming my nails first before filing which would have taken an extremely long time to file down and was also very painful. When I pointed out that one pinky toe was extremely longer than the other, she seemed confused when I asked for it to be cut shorter (why would I not want my nails to match lol). When she placed hot towels on my legs it caused a ton of pain in the cut toe. There was no lotion applied after the scrub or any massage of any type aside from a couple slaps with the towel on my legs. A second tech took over to do the polish. they proceeded to begin applying a gel base. Mind you I had picked out and brought a regular color over and never asked for gel. They then informed me I would be charged for gel removal a second time. One patchy thin coat was applied and I you could completely see my nail through it. They seemed surprised that I was asking for additional coats to ensure a solid color. At one point I actually had to reach down and scrape off the polish than was on my skin bc they were going to let it dry that way. I left with dead flaky skin still dangling from my toes, uneven and patchy color, and in the midst of an anxiety attack due to the absolutely horrible experience. Will never return here. The nail tech gave herself $3 more of a tip than I agreed to onto the total which I had to have the manager reverse and recharged for the correct amount. I was being rung up they were laughing at me loudly from the other room. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the owner was very sweet and...
Read moreREAD THIS BEFORE YOU GO. This place is highly unprofessional. Went here thinking I could get nails done without gel, but apparently no one here offers that service. As I was getting my toes done, the lady dropped nail brush on the ground and put it back in the bottle without disinfecting it, so I questioned her about it, and she acted like it wasn’t a big deal so I said you know what just change my color. she proceeded to spray alcohol on the nail brush she dropped only after I mentioned that she dropped it. Got my toes finished, and the lady did a good job, I’ll give her that but it’s everything else that’s bad. After that sat and waited to get nails done, and the lady called me to her desk. So, I sit down and lady had loose acrylic tips on her desk which is normal, but then she proceeded to pop an acrylic tip in her mouth like it was candy, and chew on it IN FRONT OF ME. Girl, I was WELL DONE. After I seen that I was ready to go anyway, and when I told the lady “no gel” she repeated back “no gel?” And then called another employee over because once I said that she didn’t understand what I was saying, and she needed a translator. (Or she just didn’t want to do my nails without gel?) the employee explained to me they apparently don’t do acrylics without GEL. “And if I wanted regular French tips I would have to pay 50$ the same price as gels, but the really don’t do them anyway” I hightailed out of there, and I will NEVER be back. Felt like a twilight zone experience. The lady that did my toe nails did a good job, everything else...
Read moreI honestly really liked going here but I had a real bad experience/encounter with one of the techs. I had came in for a gel manicure on Saturday 01/18/2020, everything was fine that day. When I got home The polish started to chip. I came straight after work today and I let the head lady at the salon know that the polish was chipping off. She asked one of the techs to redo my polish with an OPI polish. The tech seemed annoyed but she went ahead and started working on trying to remove the polish. She was very rough handed even though I kept flinching due the scapel instrument she was using to remove the polish. I specifically chose a color and as she is painting them I started noticing it was the one I had choose on the polish shelf. I clearly asked if this color was the same as the one on the board and she stated “yes” in a very bothersome tone. She didn’t offer to change the color until I kept saying I didn’t like it. I then show the head lady at the salon both colors she looks at the one I picked out and the one the lady painted my nails with and says they are not the same but then looks at the number and says wait they are. I said give my your hand I painted both colors on her nail clearly they were not the same. The nail tech then offered to redo the job but I refused due to I had to wait and I was already worried she was gonna be rough handed again. I honestly am very upset with this place & wish my regular nail tech was there. I should’ve asked the nail tech who worked on me today for her name so I could have referenced it on...
