Helados Delicias — Restaurant in Delaware

Was there on 11/12/23 this was the 3rd time I’ve been there and we will be back. I had a chamoyada explosiva and the horchata. My friend had a banana split and a bag of chili lime snacks. We like the place a lot for several reasons. Amazing flavor options and it is obvious that the ice cream is made fresh. The chunks of fruit in the fruit flavor ice cream/ water ice takes the ice cream to the next level. The cookie and candy ice creams were packed full of cookies and candies.

The horchata was so creamy we’ve never had it like this and loved it.

The staff is wonderful and they are bilingual which is helpful since I have not learned enough Spanish to speak a full sentence yet. They are very generous to answer my questions each time I’m there.

Only criticism is the foods you advertise on the tv screens. These items looked amazing but they went by so fast that I couldn’t read the item name to ask about it. Please slow down the speed of the image switch on the screens. Excited to try other items...

Wonderful Experience at Helados Las Delicias! :)

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Helados Las Delicias in Wilmington, and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome right away.

The selection of ice cream flavors was impressive, offering both classic favorites and unique options. I tried the gansito y queso con blackberry on a waffle cone, and it was absolutely delicious—smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.

This is my second time being here and so far it never disappoints. The ice cream is always fresh, scoops are nice and big, customer service is great, and the fruit we got (not pictured) was very fresh, ripe, and sweet. They told me mamey was close to papaya which I don’t typically like but I loved the flavor so I got a scoop of it. Not overly sweet. Bubblegum is self explanatory but it really tasted like I was eating the gum. They also allow you to try as many flavors as you want and pricing is very reasonable. Highly recommend...
