First of all let me say that I love Primo Hoagies which is a regular stop for me. The folks at the Kirkwood Highway location are very friendly and the food is great. This one criticism I have is not directed at the folks who work there. I have to say however, that a very recent concern I have is the fact that all of a sudden there is far less meat on the hoagies then in recent past. Not just a little less, a lot less. The first time it happened I thought perhaps it was simply an isolated occurrence, the result of a particular employee making the sandwich. However, this has now happened on 3 separate occasions so it appears to be a conscious decision by management to reduce the volume of meat. The decrease in the portion of meat is very noticeable. I showed my wife the last hoagie I got, which had so little meat she responded are you kidding me? I've said to friends and family repeatedly over the years that the failure of many long established restaurant to survive usually begins with the sudden and noticeable reduction in food portions. People not only look for good food but a good value as well. I know this is done sometimes to manage cost, however you would be better off charging more money but keeping the portions the same. To be honest if this doesn't change, sadly, I will probably look for an alternative. Update- I got a very quick response from management that they will look into my concern which I appreciate. As a result...

On July 1st I ordered 2 medium sized sandwiches (not sure why they totaled almost $40 when I only ordered sandwiches). They have a sign at each register that states “If you do not receive a register receipt at the time of payment then your meal is free”. I told the person at the counter that I never got a receipt and they told me that they do not know how to process refunds. I was told to leave my information and that I’ll receive a call from one of the owners when they process my refund. I called after the holiday and someone on the phone told me a refund was processed. A couple days later someone called me back saying that they needed the last 4 of my card. Then I called back a week later and no one has answers. It’s been almost 2 weeks and no one has processed me a refund. At this point it seems as though Primo’s does not want to refund me or explain to me why only 2 sandwiches cost me nearly $40. I will absolutely never eat here again and I am honored to leave this review for all to see.

Where’s the “zero stars” button???

Stopped by Primo’s for their turkey hoagie on a plain roll and had a solid experience overall. The turkey was fresh and flavorful, with generous portions that made for a satisfying meal. The plain roll was fresh and had a nice texture - not too dense, held up well to the fillings without falling apart. The vegetables were crisp and the condiments were well-balanced. The staff was friendly and attentive - they took my order promptly and were happy to answer questions about the menu. Service was efficient without feeling rushed. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable - clean dining area with a casual, neighborhood feel that makes you want to sit and enjoy your meal. It’s the kind of place where you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The hoagie hit the spot and I’d definitely consider coming back. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that while everything was good - the food, service, and atmosphere - it didn’t quite reach that “wow” factor that would make it exceptional. Still, a reliable choice for a quality turkey hoagie with good service in a...

The brown sandy hair female taking orders was rude and impatient. I ordered the whole hoagie I asked how many pieces can it be cut she said 4. I asked can you cut it into more pieces it was done before I said I can't remember if they did 8 or 6 pieces. She said with a nasty tone I will cut it in 8 . I asked her if it a problem to cut in 8 trying to remain calm to her unprofessional customer services. As she keeps asking anything else yes how about proper professional services smh. The lady making the sandwich with the black hair was so nice and polite she greeted everyone as soon as they walked while the rude girl at the cash register said nothing. I have been going here for years and never had such rude horrible service. I always leave a tip but I didn't this time because I didn't want the rude cashier getting a extra penny wish I could've handed a tip directly to the lady making the sandwich.

I’m done with this place. The sandwiches are too pricey for them to be leaving the sandwiches empty. The cheesesteaks look anemic and have like no meat in them and here is my Nonna’s Veggie missing just about everything in it. Instead of just refunding me for their mistake like literally every other food place that takes online orders, they said there’s nothing that they can do unless I drive all the way back to the store. I’m in Middletown so that is not an option. Ridiculous policy! I usually let this slide from Primos but I’m really disappointed how they handled this. I paid $30 for bread. I can’t support a business like this anymore.
