Shanghai Grill & Kpot and Grand King — Restaurant in Holland

Haven’t been here since covid. Went here with a few friends, everything was going normal until payment time. I only got 1 plate of food, my second plate was going to be fruits since the food was cold I wasn’t interested in getting more. By the time I was going to get my plate of fruits the waitress came in running with me and my friends tab. I wish I could be kidding but this has to be the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me and my Friends. We had only been there for 12 minutes when the old short haired Asian lady brought us our total and didn’t leave the table. And one of my friends mentioned to her keep the change, we were going to leave her a larger tip but she argued that she wanted a bigger tip and would NOT LEAVE our table. Most of the people at my table were on their first plate mind you we got there at 5 pm so they weren’t closing any time soon. The total read $28 for my tab and she demanded the money right away and a 15 dollar tip right away, I had only ate half of one plate and I was so disgusted by the service that I didn’t even go for seconds .

The Asian lady did that to all my friends and we felt so humiliated . After that my friend went to get ice cream and the lady told her she couldn’t get none because we had paid already after we were all forced to leave 15$ dollar tip each and our tab was brought after 12 minutes of being there mind you we were seated in a different room, when we came back to our table, the rest of our friends said we had to leave because our table had been cleaned and some of our friends plates were taken away while they where still enjoying there food. I will file a complaint to the state because of the cold food being served . But we will not be going here ever again. This was so humiliating and embarrassing because we were charged so much for nothing we couldn’t even get our ice cream and other customers were just looking at me and my friend when the Asian lady yelled at us. We should of called the police because when the short haired old Asian waitress demanded a 15$ tip from everyone she was squeezing my friends shoulder really hard . Never again, no wonder this place is...

We were excited to try this hot pot and Korean BBQ buffet, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment we sat down.

Our server, Kim, seemed very flustered and overwhelmed. While I understand it can get busy, she came across as short and dismissive. While we could hear her on another side laughing and joking with other guests. We had to ask for refills, and there was little follow up considering we had to ask multiple times for items on the grill. What stood out even more—unfortunately for the wrong reasons—was how she was dressed. Compared to the servers on the opposite side of the restaurant, Kim’s outfit was noticeably more revealing and completely out of place for what’s supposed to be a family-friendly dining environment. It felt unprofessional and distracting.

The grill at our table didn’t heat evenly, and we ended up with half-burned, half-raw pieces of meat. And the ventilation was terrible—we left the place smelling like the bbq smoke from head to toe.

All around, this was not the experience we were hoping for. Between the awkward service, questionable attire, and low-quality food, we won’t be returning—and we definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a quality hot pot or Korean BBQ meal, save yourself the trouble and drive to...

Absolutely the worst Chinease food I've had in a while. My order was fairly simple: Orange chicken, chicken fried rice add green onion, and beef & broccoli. Let's start with the fried rice. I've never in my LIFE had fried rice that was yellow in color.

That rice not once touched a Wok at all, and there is no soy sauce in it. Flavorless and bland. The chicken that was in it (if that was indeed chicken) tasted like it was boiled before it was added to the rice. The texture was extremely off and slimy, we had throw it out.

The Orange chickens sauce was about the only think that tasted ok. It has actually bits of orange zest in it which was great, but the chicken came in these huge lumps that were round and solid. Very strange looking chicken balls. The beef and broccoli's graveyard was light brown colored.

Idk what type of seasoning you guys use or what ever gravey you put your beef in but you need to stop. This is not Chinese food, to even call it thst...
