My experience here is not reflected in reviews or pictures at all. I pulled up to a boarded up front, which I can overlook due to renovations, yet this looked a bit different. I had placed an order online. The dining area was dated and had a different feel than the pics online. I placed takeout, so that wasn’t an issue. Our tempura had batter falling off and was soggy and greasy like it was cooked in cold oil. Although that is one of my wife’s favorite, she didn’t eat more than a couple of bites. We order hibachi filet mignon and shrimp. The steak wasn’t like any filet I’ve ever had. It was tough. The fish did not seem to be cooked in a hibachi manner, and seemed to be a Chinese preparation instead. I asked for ginger and yum yum sauce and it seemed to surprise the cook that I wanted yum yum with my hibachi. I’ve never had that as a question from any place before. Maybe a question of the ginger sauce, but not yum yum. Ok, now on to the salad. Ginger dressing is not ginger sauce. They gave me a ginger sauce for the salad instead of dressing. After the hibachi and tempura experience, I didn’t want to go any further. I also ordered pork lo mein that looked and smelled okay. I didn’t try it because by the time I sat down, the wife’s stomach was already turning. It seemed to quickly exit her body and left me feeling ill even looking at the lo mein. The one upside, was the fried rice. She said it tasted good. Outside of that, this was a very bad experience. I would be shocked if they remain in business if they don’t make major changes quickly.

I met a friend here for a late lunch / early dinner. It wasn't busy at all. Actually, we were the only ones there for a little while. The decor is nice and the staff was friendly. We shared an order of Crab Rangoons (that were mostly cream cheese unfortunately). My friend had Sesame Chicken with broccoli and I had General Tso's chicken. Both meals were delicious and the chicken was nice pieces of white meat (no hard stringy chicken like some places). My only complaint was there was little to no crapmeat in the Crab Rangoons. We had a good laugh at the fortune cookies as mine was empty and her's had an ad for Squatch Bar Soap. We came back for the 2nd time and all I can add is that I hope you like sweet sauce. The General Tso's chicken I had last time was too sweet. This time I had the Tangerine Beef and Broccoli. This sauce was too sweet for my tastes as well. My friend had the Teriyaki Chicken and she said it was good. I think my friend is jinxed when it comes to the fortune cookies because she got another blank one. Lol

If this were gas station sushi, I might add a star. It was arguably the worst we have ever had. We had two premium rolls, a standard roll, and their assorted appetizer for two. As for the appetizer platter, the Chicken Satay was overcooked and had a texture similar to jerky, not at all edible. The rib had chewable parts, but they were overcooked as well. The ragoon and gyoza were OK, but the egg roll had a weird texture on the wonton. The rolls had little flavor. They were mushy and off-putting. We honestly could not finish them. Heck, not even our cat begged for a taste. I hate to be so negative, and I feel like I said enough. But, if you want better quality, go to Wild Chef. Top quality, Miso Sushi. But, I cannot in good faith recommend sushi from this establishment. They don't even have Asian sushi chefs making the rolls, but I bet they could whip up some great Hispanic fare!

Went here being a little weary because of the vacant parking lot. But curiosity got the better of us and we went in. First glance we got when we went inside was beautiful decor, it didn’t seem too empty, but it wasn’t overwhelming. We were the only ones there (it was around 5:20) when we sat down. We were served our drinks quickly and we were soon ready to order. We ordered 3 soups, four rolls, and the tiramisu. Not too hard to screw up, right? Wrong. We were served 2 soups, the rolls were fine but they fell apart easily. Other than that I actually quite enjoyed the sushi (they were really quite decent for $5). But they weren’t anything special. Then the waitress came back to check on us about 2 more times after we finished and didn’t pick up our dirty dishes. She came back with out receipt and nearly dropped it in soy sauce. We glanced at each other wondering about the tiramisu and decided to wait until she came back. She grabbed our card a few minutes later and then we waited for about 10 minutes before she finally came back with the card. We then asked about the tiramisu and she said it was in the back. So, we waited again. And after another 5 minutes she came back out with a cake with whipped cream that looked like soap from a dispenser and a wimpy piece of tiramisu with a chunk missing. I repeat, A CHUNK MISSING. We gave her a fake smile and then immediately looked at the cake. I shrugged and tried a bit. Long story short, it was more like an ice cream cake with a hint of coffee on it. Also the waitress never picked up the dishes. Not even when it was taking up nearly half the table. The only reason why I’m even giving them two stars is because of the sushi. It was pretty good. The deduction, in short was for poor food delivery, slow service, and lack of...
