Aloha Beauty Center — Local services in Honolulu

I’ve noticed this shop a few times as I live in the area and do some grocery shopping near by. Since my previous stylist has moved off island I’ve been searching for a new stylist and figured let me try this place and support a local business. I won’t be going back. I originally went there for a wash, cut and blow dry. The stylist noticed that my highlights had a major grow out and ended up talking me into highlighting my hair. I’ve always had blonde highlights and lowlights. My hair turned out darker then what I’m used too and I’m not happy at all, I paid over $300 dollars my haircut isn’t layered which I asked for, it doesn’t even look like I have any type of blonde highlights at all and I noticed areas that wasn’t even touched. There was no weaving done at all. Overall I’m not satisfied with my hair and now I’ll need to find another stylist that can fix my hair to bring it back to blonde and redo my haircut, which will cost me another few hundred dollars. Found this place on Facebook and wanted to check it out! I got a wash, blow dry, and hair trim with Tina and CJ and they were both very friendly and did an awesome job. They really care about their business and customers and I felt I could trust them with my hair. The price is very good in my opinion especially because CJ put time and effort into my trim which I really appreciate. Aloha Beauty Center is my new favorite nail salon! As soon as I walked in CJ was there to greet me with a big smile, making me feel genuinely welcome.
