I've been meaning to go here for months, and a rainy Sunday afternoon proved to be the perfect moment to stop by with some friends. The interior, though small, is so charmingly decorated with such care and delightful details. Although known more for their bottled beverages, I opted for- and thoroughly enjoyed- a freshly made drink. The blueberry matcha was delicious, and is probably one of my top three matchas on island now! At first I wondered if I'd misordered because there was no visible blueberry-ness, but the first sip proved me wrong. The blueberry flavor was very present but still paired beautifully with matcha and oat milk, and the blueberry scented cold foam on top was wizardry. Overall, it was a nice sweet treat, while being not-too-sweet! My companion also got their yuzu chocolate oat coffee drink, and while that seemed like an ambitious combination, let me tell you... they pulled it off! The flavor notes come in waves and it was refreshingly unique and well balanced. The staff are all so friendly, fashionable, and chill. Also enjoyed their ube swirl bread to share. Also, LOVE that they are open later til 6pm, which is so rare for cafes here! Will be coming back to sample lots more and also check out their covered patio...
Read moreThis is the coffee that dreams are made of. Delightfully but delicately sweet, the black sesame “kuro game” is the matriarch of iced coffees. You have never had an iced coffee like this. It hits you with a light sweetness and the perfect amount of coffee flavor. Enough so you know you’re drinking fresh espresso, but not overpowering. But you know, in your heart of hearts, that those are freshly ground high quality beans in this drink. But then, in the next wave, comes the black sesame. And what a wave it is. It fuses together the drink in a magic mix of umami flavor that your tongue has not tasted before. And it never will again— at least not until the next time you buy their coffee. The finality comes with the gentle cold creaminess of the oat milk that mixes it all together in a happy dance of love, selflessly holding together this mix of flavors in the background, the maestro conducting the orchestra. Bring this coffee to the beach and take solace, for a moment, in realizing life is better than you thought it was....
Read moreLove this place. Back here about every other week or so. They have a good variety of lattes. Their ume is also one I wouldn't sleep on. Also if you're lucky and get there early enough, or if it's a slower day for them, try one of their pastries. Their banana bread was so moist and the okinawan sweet potato scone went great with our coffees. I also tried their "chotto" latte, if you like a stronger coffee taste with a nice thick and creamy foam, that's the perfect drink. Workers there are also very attentive, will answer your questions and let you sample to help you decide what to order. Small cafe but so cute and homey. They have mangas along with japanese magazines and books for those that just want to enjoy something there. Only thing is parking...need to hope you get there at the right time, there's only 3 metered parking in front of the store or you may to look farther...
