Aloha Pearl Harbor Tours — Local services in Honolulu

I’ve never written a bad review, but WE WERE SCAMMED by this company! I made reservations 4 weeks in advance. The night before our tour we received an email stating our reservation was confirmed and then an hour later we received a second email and a text message stating our reservation was canceled - no explanation, no phone call, just an email & text that it was canceled. We tried calling with no answer and no return call. Thinking a mistake had occurred, we went to the to the address on the website early the next morning when the website said they opened to hopefully clear up the issue. The building was permanently closed down. We called again and eventually got through to someone who told us they canceled several ticket holders’ reservations for safety due to Covid. They would not explain why they did not cap how many reservations to allow instead of allowing people to book at full capacity and then canceling last minute. They also would not explain how they chose which families to cancel and refused to reschedule us to another date that week while we were on the island. However, they did offer us Arizona tickets IF we would attend a timeshare presentation! What?!!! We did some fast internet research and found we could go to Pearl Harbor ourselves for FREE since it is a national park - parking is FREE too. You can also go out to the USS Arizona for FREE - we just asked a park ranger who showed us to a standby seating area and after all the ticket holders boarded, they let us standby guests on to fill the boat. Also, you can drive yourself to the Punchbowl cemetery for FREE - parking is free too. Plus, you can get out of your vehicle and look around which you cannot do on the tour. Both Pearl Harbor and the cemetery are only a few minutes drive from Waikiki. So, do yourselves a favor and either book with another company who won’t cancel your reservation in hopes of getting you to attend a timeshare or just drive yourselves and do these...

I’m giving this tour 2 stars because Pearl Harbor is amazing. From the museums to the documentary to the well maintained grounds, it was a very nice place to visit. However, our tour guide yesterday had a nasty attitude and lacked professionalism. He goes by the name “Cousin A”. Unfortunately, he was more like family you don’t want to be around. A fellow tourist asked him how long he had been in Hawaii and he completely blew up. He told him, “This is a tour about Pearl Harbor, not about the Pearl Harbor tour guide, don’t ask me any personal questions or I’ll call you out and make fun of you.” He made sure to remind the entire group multiple times that we were on a Groupon tour, “the cheap seats” he kept saying, so we should lower our expectations. We were given one small donut each and one small cup of coffee in a parking lot with no place to sit. My husband doesn’t drink coffee, so he didn’t have a drink at all. I felt very uncomfortable being asked to leave my purse on the bus, which was unattended. Also disappointed in our 3 minute tour of the Punchbowl Cemetery. This place has very very bad service.To begin with i purchase my ticket of group on app.In there app they don't explained what time are the pick ups at the hotel.in addition i made my reservation like 1:30 noon,and i screen pop up saying "thank you for reservation will contact you within 24hr period " phone or email.They did not get back to till 11:54 pm ,now at that time everyone is exhausted and asleep.apparently i wake up at 7 am and had a miss call at 5:? another words i miss the bus .I tried calling them back no answer what so ever . I even when to pearl harbor site my self.At 2 counters no one could pull up my information witch is very sad.they did tell me i could buy the tickets right now and go see witch ever tour i want .they also told me to look around and they are dress up in yellow shirts .In my head I'm like are you kidding me. I went back to my hotel i tried calling them and no answer i even made another reservation. And they still haven't got back to me.Now at this point i just think how many people had this problem ?very disappointed at this company no quality service at all.my suggestion to you guys just go to pearl harbor and purchase the tickets there ,and have no headaches...
