If I could leave 0 stars I WOULD. I usually donât go off like this, but I have time today and the ladies of Infinity Nails played in my face as well as with my hands. First and LAST time.
TLDR: these ladies including the manager are lazy and unserious. Save your time, and avoid this place, they donât know what theyâre doing!
I broke an acrylic that was done on my trip to Washington State so I called Infinity and asked if they could repair it. The lady said to come right away, so I did. When I arrived, one lady is laid out on her phone barely awake. She livens up tells me that I have to pick the color that matches my other nail color. Even though there are tons of colors she insists I find it myself and is no help. I find something pretty close. She tells me it costs $10 to fix 1 nail. At this point, itâs whatever.
Whatâs not whatever is her attitude and lack of skill. I will sum up the order of events that led me to walk out paying this salon dust.
She begins to scrape under my broken acrylic nail with a metal tool NO acetone or anything which freaking hurts and when I express that she snaps and say itâll take longer to soak them off. She Then proceeded to dunk my thumb in a Walmart brand nail polish remover sponge pot.
Real salons use strong acetone that with a few seconds of pressing onto a nail will remove whateverâs on it. This was the first red flag đ© for me that these ladies were lazy and unserious. Because they didnât share their names with me, we will call Lady 1: Lazy and Lady 2: Unserious
I wait for like 10 minutes while Lazy goes back to lounging in the pedicure chair with her phone until I ask if sheâs going to do my nails to which she responds: âI donât know how to do your nails. You have to waitâ đ
I waited while unserious finished another customerâs pedicure even though they knew what I was coming for when I called and told me to come ânowâ
Eventually, Lazy comes over and tries scratching off my acrylic nail and when I protest she yells in my face and says if I canât wait I can leave. Itâs a whole thing and very unnecessary. If she doesnât know how to do acrylic nails idk why she was even talking to me at that point. Unserious finally walks over and fulfills her namesake.
Although sheâs quiet, her attempt at repairing my nail was deadly. Iâve never seen anyone shape a nail after laying the acrylic powder and then drying it with a FAN. I mean can it get any more ghetto??
What would usually take 30 minutes at any other place ended up being an hour-long mess. Just look at the difference between the French tip they did on the left and my original nail done in Washington State.
After an hour of sitting there, she knew she played in my face and conceded to not charging me. Gracious but nevertheless, pathetic. Never...
Read moreI may have just come in on a bad day (Wednesday around 11) but I did have a bit of a frustrating experience.
I came in for a regular manicure, one of two clients in the store. Their lacquer polish selection is not very good if you're looking for a more nude/subtle pink color, most of the colors they had were very bright. The woman who helped me didn't fully remove my original nail polish, and although she gave a good filing job for most of my fingers I still had a break that I had to ask her to file down. When I mentioned these two things she seemed annoyed and talked a lot to the other technicians about it. The whole time, she also asked repeatedly if I wanted Gel, which I had to say no to (even though, as she said a few times, it was only $15 more).
She put on the color I initially chose for two fingers, but it was a bit too flashy for me so I asked if I could change colors. She agreed and I came back with another color, but she said I couldn't use that one for some reason. I asked why and didn't really get an answer, so I asked that she remove the nails she painted + the residue from my original polish that she had missed. At this point she started really talking a lot to the other technicians and, while I didn't understand it, it made me feel like I was being a nuisance and I decided to leave with no color. Overall, it was a bit embarrassing and I felt a bit more stressed than I wanted to feel after a manicure. Popped over to Safeway across the street to buy nail polish to do my own nails at home.
2 stars for a good hand/arm massage + a decent...
Read moreThis was my second time back here. I was debating whether to review or not but I am so disappointed in my nails. They looked terrible and started falling off 2 days later!! TWO DAYS!! The paint was also chipping off. I don't even have a job where I wash my hands often or anything of the sort. There was an older gentleman who did my nails. Not sure if he's the owner or what. I get it he's older. But if he/they know he cannot do a good job then I rather wait. They saw how bad it was and didn't even give me a discount or anything. I really thought I found my nail place but not going after this, almost $100 just for my nails to be falling off after the second day and they're not even. He didn't even file them after putting the filler on the acrylics The 2 nails with nail art only look alright because I kept asking to do it over again since he could not do it. He finally gave up and had one of the girls do the nail...
