Lawson Station at Sheraton Waikiki — Local services in Honolulu

My pre-teen daughter and her friends walked into Lawson's moments before us (two sets of parents) and was screamed at by an employee at the cash register to "get out, before the police are called" because they were mistakenly accused of being shoplifters who were in the store earlier in the day. The female cashier refused to apologize for making accusations to the girls, even after we spoke with the manager on duty and explained that an earlier incident was not possible as we were registered guests of the hotel and had just checked in that afternoon and had walked into the store for the first time that day. I'm not sure what occurred after we left the shop, but the manager did very little to remedy the situation with the cashier and only offered his apology which should have immediately come from the adult cashier who was wrong to make threatening statements to young minors without any solid evidence. We have shopped at Lawson's in Japan as well as during two previous stays at the Sheraton and were shocked to have this occur...

The Good: Lawson Station is a nice place to stock up on snacks and other supplies for your Hawaii visit but due to its location it’s easily outcompeted by the ABC store chains. One very nice thing about Lawson Station that sets it apart from some other stores is the hot food provided. There are various Asian snacks that can be bought!

The Bad: Lawson Station is located in some corner of Sheraton Waikiki, so if you don’t live in the Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort you might have a hard time reaching this location. Service and environment are neutral with nothing exceptional of note.

The Ugly: Lawson Station at Sheraton Waikiki has nothing “ugly” about. The claims of very disrespectful service staff was unfound during my visits. At worst they...

I have to put a star to write a review. It deserves zero. I purchased 2 Yuntech Cabana sets at the Sheraton Waikiki location, 9/36/25 around 7pm. The first transaction went through and appeared as pending in my bank account. However the store employees said it did not and the transaction timed out. They rang it up again even though I showed them the pending transaction in my bank account. They told me it did ot go through. I asked what I should do if bith transactions go through since I was leaving the following day. The store employees said I could just call. Well, I was charged twice and the phone number on the website and receipt do not work. Exact same charges withing minutes. Reported to my bank. Hopefully I will get...
