Went for the first time and it was such a great experience! The tour guide, Adam, was amazing and so charismatic and taught the history of Hawaii very well. As a local born and raised and Kamehameha Schools graduate I was pleasantly surprised by how much even I learned during this crawl. At each stop we had 30mins to enjoy our drinks that was paid for by Adam (1 each, beer or cider) while Adam taught us Hawaiian history. The walk wasn’t too bad because all the stops are fairly close to each other so you won’t be trekking through the hot sun for a long time. We did bring fans just to be prepared because some places we sat in aren’t air conditioned. It’s a great tour to find bars in Waikiki that are in walking distance and a great way to learn about the culture if you’ve never been to Hawai’i or even if you’ve lived here your entire life. We did buy our own drinks at our last stop because we wanted to eat so we payed for our own cocktails and just sat and enjoyed the last bar and Adam did his final part of the tour. Will definitely be bringing another group of friends to do this again!
TL;DR - a great experience to try if you’re a local or a...
Read moreThis pub crawl was one of the highlights of my trip to Waikiki! Adam our guide took us on a journey through history while stopping at 4 bars along the way. The bars all had unique vibes or themes and we were able to taste local brews at each location. We also learned about Hawaii’s rich history along the way complete with visuals and jokes from Adam. Highly recommend this tour if you’re wanting to learn more about the land you are visiting and find some cool local spots...
Read moreThis Pub Crawl was a highlight of our visit to Waikiki! Our guide, Kelly, was extremely knowledgeable and fun! She did a great job bringing the group together and making sure everyone felt included. The locations we visited were easy to get to and unique to locals. This was such a refreshing alternative to all of the touristy places we had been visiting. My only suggestion would be to make the tour longer so participants could spend more time at each stop. ...
