This was my second time me and my other half have went for the couples massage for 100 mins this time and it was such a lovely experience ☺️ I forgot to review this last time as we had other things planned ahead afterwards but this time I really wanted to make sure their establishment is recognized. It’s very ambient, very professional and let me just say we both almost fell asleep had it not been for the digging they were doing into our way-overdue-for-a-massage muscles 💆‍♀️💆‍♂️ mind you, we just got done moving stuff since December ‘22 and February this year ! Man that stuff really takes a toll on you and it’s so easy to get in the blur of things. Well, after today’s visit, we smelt of coconut oil and hubby and I had no sense of time in the BEST way 😃😂🫶 Really hit the areas that had the most tension for us which was our traps and legs and me personally my neck and shoulders. Two weeks prior to this visit I had a STIFF NECK and the remaining knots were still LIVING there and these past few days in the office were a reminder that it even happened 😫 But after the kneading it melted away. Thank you so much for the experience, such a kind, courteous and friendly staff 😄 We love it there. The decorations are adorable and the lighting creates that spa moment; almost like a secret hub in the alley but for recovery 😌 Even though we’ve moved, we’ll still make the trip out there. We lived in Makiki the first time and now we live in Salt Lake which isn’t that bad of a ride but we don’t know town or the area we live it that very well ironically—we can be such habitual creatures to the places we really can count on for expected services 😉 Not always a bad thing at all in this case 💛 Something I want to note too though is that if you select ‘couples massage’ as your choice, know that you will not be in the same room while you are being serviced. The time duration and the treatment is equally the same and trust and believe you’ll get what you ask for. I only added this part in because my very first time getting a massage I was a little nervous letting another stranger see the amount of skin on me that wasn’t my arms or legs 🌝 and prior to the first visit, my other half and I didn’t yet know about the layout of the establishment. Rest assured, it turned out totally fine and I forgot the sheet and my underwear was even my source of clothing for that hour and something minutes(again, reminder; lost sense of time in there LOL). OMG…. I’ve been suffering with uncomfortable nights of sleep due to subluxation for about two months now and I was contemplating going to a chiropractor but didn’t go. Finally yesterday morning upon waking up in pain, I decided to get a massage. It was the BEST decision I made for myself. I read the online reviews of a few massage businesses in the Honolulu area and liked the reviews of Kakaako Forever Young Spa. I specifically read the reviews given by women because I’m a woman and I feel that women tend to give truer reviews when it comes to massage. Upon booking online, I saw different types of massage offered and I couldn’t decide which would be best for my needs, so I phoned the business. The call taker told me not to worry. That the massage therapist will note my concerns and be able to read my body to tailor the massage to suit my needs. Honestly, I was happy to hear that. I booked my massage for 6 pm and the massage was AMAZING. There was a good balance of pain and GOOD pain, fortunately the GOOD pain outweighed the “OWeeeee” pain. After the massage was done, I felt great. I asked my masseuse, Kiki, what type of massage I had and she said it was a combination of deep tissue and stretching. Last night was the best sleep I had in 6 months. As for the place of business , it’s a tiny hole in the wall but it is very clean. The staff was welcoming and professional and my masseuse, Kiki, she was amazing. I will book another appointment with Kiki in two weeks. As for pricing, it is reasonable. It was much less than going to a chiropractor ($200+ without insurance). Plus, my other muscles and joints feel great too. We both have had massages in a bunch of places, so yes, we do have something to compare Young's Massage & Spa to. First time here and so glad we found this shop! Don't judge a book by it's cover, this is a GEM of a place! Nestled in a side street in the Ala Moana/Kakaako area, idk how I missed seeing the shop the first time and had to circle around the block. There are some street parking nearby, and also found out there is a stall on the side of the salon that you can park in. Booked a couples massage, but we had to go in separate rooms. Nonetheless, we just went with it so we both could get the massages rolling.

Vivi found all of my knots in my back and then found some I didn't know I had. Worked on my lower/mid back thoroughly, like no other massage I've ever had. She did shoulder stretches and loosened up my tight shoulders and neck. Wifey said Kiki did an awesome job working out all of her knots and getting all the spots in her back, shoulders, arms, and hands that she needed. Hurt so good I think we both wished they had two hour massages. It felt so good to walk out of there with way less pain than when we went in. Can't thank Kiki and Vivi enough, hopefully we can get back in again sometime soon. They were attentive to our needs, the massages were fantastic, and the price/value is outstanding.
