We did the parasailing and snorkeling bundle in May 2025 and had the greatest time of all! To start off with the price, we paid $225 for two people for the total bundle package, which is unheard of! I have been seeing some snorkeling activities here in the island going between $80-120 A PERSON and we paid that price for two people including two different activities. The crew at both activities were AMAZING! Super polite and friendly. They had lots of interest facts about Hawaii and seemed to be genuinely passionate about their jobs. Only great positive interactions for both experiences. For the parasailing they take you out on the boat with a group of 6 pairs and take turns lifting people up. You’re in the sky for about 5 ish minutes. They are also kind to offer optional water dipping. You can purchase their pictures for $45 dollars which we thought it was worth it for a first time experience! For the snorkeling, you’re out in the water for about two hours. It is a 15 minute sail to get to the diving/snorkeling area and another 15 to come back. However, while you’re out in the ocean an hour and thirty minutes are more than enough to explore the area. They provide snorkeling mask/tube, inflatable life jacket and swimming fins. Again, the crew was very supportive and knowledgeable; even if you don’t know how to swim or have never snorkeled before (like me) they are there at all times to ensure you will have a pleasant experience. We were super lucky to see two turtles and tons of fish. You are expected to tip for both experiences. Please ensure to bring some extra money reserved for that as the crew is incredible and very much deserves to be appreciated. They take cash and card. I would highly recommend this company for water activities and look forward to booking again...
Read moreWhile I’ve lived on Oahu for several years this was my first experience whale watching from a boat because I had a pretty good idea I would struggle with the motion sickness but didn’t want to take Dramamine and drive.
I was volunteering for Travel Visions Aloha, a non-profit for blind and visually impaired and they had previously done a whale watching tour with Go Hawaii Watersports and they all raved about it. They were right. The crew from Go Hawaii Watersports, Marlee, the Captain, and both Kalani and Dustin, couldn’t have been any better. We had almost 40 people in our group and there were another 20ish who booked separately so their boat was a little under half capacity (I believe) but there was plenty of room to walk around the entire time. A few from our group did end up a little seasick despite it being a relatively calm day and Kalani and Dustin handled it all with the calmness and compassion of the best of nurses in dealing with and comforting those of us struggling so we could still enjoy the tour as much as possible.
We ended up seeing several spouts and a few tails but that part of the experience is out of the control of the crew of course.
Because over half of our group were participants (blind or significantly visually impaired) Marlee, the Captain, did an excellent job of describing what she was seeing rather than simply “spout or tail at 10 o’clock”. Again, our group was raving about their experience and how much fun they were having.
Highly recommend Go Hawaii Watersports for any of their offerings. Highest of caliber staff that makes it all such a fun and safe...
Read moreGot the sunset/ firework deal with reservations at charter house. Employees were late and in a different check in hut than usual. The lady saw multiple of us looking around for help and it wasn’t until another boat crew (BLUE OCEAN SNORKELING VERY HELPFUL) helped us and led us in the right direction that we were able to check in. Description said it was a boat with 2 restrooms on board. Upon arrival we were told they just got a new boat that was actually a small boat with no restrooms and that they were not doing the dinner reservations either. Mind you I talked to them multiple times over the phone and was never even told anything about the changes. The boat was literally at max capacity we fit like sardines. There was 14 of us plus the 2 female captains and one male. The male and one of the femaledriving who also did a good job announcing the landmarks and safety rules did a good job driving the boat. However the other girl with glasses and space buns was not a good driver at all. I could feel the difference each time they switched drivers, she is not smooth at driving the boat at all. To top it all off after the firework show the bad driver yelled out “WHO WANTS TO GO SUPER FAST NOW!?” literally everyone stayed quiet with the exception of ONE INTOXICATED passenger who said yes. I was super scared because she was already a bad driver and it felt like the boat was going to flip. I am 5 months pregnant and most of the other passengers were elderly. It was not a fun experience for me at all. I won’t be booking...
