This place I have spent much money there. My last shopping trip. I had a cart full of purchases. Exiting the store. I was on phone and a man took my arm and pulled me to him saying I had to go inside with him. I said ok. I complied and had no fear bc I had done nada wrong. They took me to back offic3 and said I stole socks. I do s not I paid for them.the clerk made a mistake and pit 2 pairs of socks in my bag and didn't give me levis that I paid for. I said well thank God this happened bc I wouldn't have even known you robbed me of my jeans. The manager was a scorned woman. I offered to pay for six or they could take the jeans they owe me. Whatever they would allow to get me out of there. The colored manager was being so rude and nasty saying what's that sticker on uour card. I didn't no what she was referring to and let her look in my wallet. She could t find what she was looking for. Also my name appears different om my card with middle name than dl. She was accusing me of stealing my own credit cards. The lady called cops a nd I went to jail. This place has some serious issues. Fa lsely accusing a customer that can show on camera that their clerk did the mistake .I will not walk in again. Beware. Oh and I had no choice to file charges...
Read moreI had never been to Belk's before, in any city or state. But I was pleasantly surprised with the Hot Springs Belk's as it was perhaps closer to a Kohl's or maybe a JC Penny's. The store is super clean and very nicely laid out, with easy access to each department byway of a large central pathway which circles the store. The women's section appeared to have an extensive collection of clothing, accessories, perfumes, and makeup, perhaps over 50% of the store. The men's area was much smaller occupying maybe 20% of the space. Home goods and linens accounted for the rest. Overall, Belk's appeared to carried many recognizable household brand names, especially in activewear, appliances, and casuals. When we were there Belk's also had a ton of items discounted from the retail price. Overall I was impressed with the store. Having an alternative to hit-or-miss discount stores and full-retail department stores is a...
Read moreWhen my mom was still alive, she visited department store cosmetics counters with the same enthusiasm she had for travel and fashion. Regional cosmetics representatives knew her by name, and everybody loaded her up with samplesâwhich she shared with my sister and me. đ„°
Today, I was really missing Mom when I walked into Belk to pick up some Clinique moisturizer and travel-sized bar soap (TSA-friendly). What fun to have two friendly faces to lighten the fog of grief and share joy of shopping in personâeven behind my mask! đ·
Unfortunately, mail order has made it less feasible to keep everything in stock locally; travel-size bar soap didnât make the cut. đ I settled for full size. And the moisturizer, all good.
Women like these give me hope. Weâre gonna make it! Thanks for sharing...
