Grilled Steak Fajitas, gotta try it now 😎😀🙌... Special thanks to Elizabeth for providing us with a fantastic dining experience at On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina in Hot Springs, Arkansas. My dining companion and I had the pleasure of indulging in their Grilled Steak Fajitas, and we were blown away by the quality and flavors. Let me start by saying that if you're a fan of sizzling, flavorful, and tender fajitas, then this is the place to be. The Grilled Steak Fajitas were a true delight for our taste buds. The steak was perfectly cooked to our liking, juicy and succulent with a wonderful charred exterior. The portion size was generous, allowing us to create our own custom fajitas with the accompanying warm flour tortillas, grilled onions, bell peppers, guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, and cheese. The presentation was impressive, with the sizzling skillet arriving at our table, enveloping us in a tantalizing aroma. The flavors were well-balanced, and the steak was seasoned to perfection. Every bite was a burst of smoky, savory goodness, making it difficult to resist going back for more. The fajitas were accompanied by flavorful Mexican rice and refried beans, adding a satisfying touch to the meal. Now, let's talk about their Sopapillas, the perfect sweet ending to our meal. These fluffy, deep-fried pastries sprinkled with cinnamon sugar were simply heavenly. Served warm, they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, creating a delightful contrast in textures. Dipping them into the honey provided a delightful sweetness that complemented the flavors perfectly. The portion was generous, allowing us to share and savor every single bite. The Sopapillas were the perfect way to end our meal, leaving us with a lingering taste of indulgence and satisfaction. The service at On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina was exceptional, thanks to Elizabeth's attentive and friendly demeanor. She made sure we had everything we needed throughout our dining experience and provided helpful recommendations. The atmosphere of the restaurant was vibrant and welcoming, adding to the overall enjoyment of our visit. In conclusion, if you find yourself in Hot Springs, Arkansas, make sure to visit On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina. Their Grilled Steak Fajitas are a must-try, offering a delectable combination of flavors and a memorable dining experience. And don't forget to treat yourself to their heavenly Sopapillas for a sweet ending that will leave you craving for more.

I love giving positive feedback about my travels, restaurants and locations I visit; however, suffice it to say the only highlight of our dining experience at "On The Boarder" was the server and that's debatable. When dining, I want to enjoy my food without inhaling heavy perfume and it lingering on my sense of taste! For $8, we ordered table-side guacamole, approximately 3 tablespoons (pre-made) was served...EXTREMELY salty. My wife ordered "Create your own Combo" (3 items), Salad, Ground Beef Taco and Cheese Enchilada with an awful Chili Verde sauce over it. She was disappointed with the entire order! I ordered the Grande Fajitas Combo, which ironically/surprisingly was prepared and cooked accordingly. We were each served Rice and Beans on the side... both plates/items were served COLD. I forgot to mention the filthy utensils, absolutely disgusting. My wife ordered dessert...a small slice of cheesecake at $8. In conclusion, this experience was an unfathomable NIGHTMARE! I asked to speak with the on-duty manager, after waiting 10 minutes, we were advised that she wasn't available. Needless to say, we will not be visiting this establishment again! POOR leadership, customer service and unfortunately undesirable food.

We visited on Sunday evening, had a table for 7. It wasn't that busy. We sat for 10 min before anyone brought chips n salsa then took our orders. We ordered drinks first with water. After 30 min of choking down chips n salsa(40 min after arriving) we finally got water. Our appetizers didn't arrive for another 10 min and we still didn't have our drinks. When the drinks arrived they were all wrong and 3 of them were wrong/returned 3 times. Our food finally arrived and some of the orders were wrong. Mind you we're all still being patient and nice but good lord it was terrible. We were there a total of 2 hrs and the food wasn't really that good and the service was terrible. I honestly have never endured such an experience at a restaurant before. I really don't like to leave a bad review and I leave reviews everywhere we go but this is my honest assessment. I'm sorry, but I do not recommend this restaurant.

Special thanks to On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina in Hot Springs, Arkansas for providing my brother and me with a delightful dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. Our server, Elizabeth, was attentive and ensured that we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our visit.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the Grilled Steak Fajitas. These fajitas were a true delight for the senses. The sizzling sound as they arrived at our table immediately captured our attention. The aroma of the perfectly seasoned steak filled the air, making our mouths water in anticipation. The steak itself was tender and flavorful, cooked just right to create a satisfying dining experience. Each bite offered a juicy and succulent taste that was thoroughly enjoyable. Accompanied by a colorful array of peppers and onions, the fajitas provided a harmonious blend of flavors. The tortillas were soft and pliable, allowing us to create delicious wraps bursting with the rich flavors of the steak and vegetables. The portion size was generous, leaving us feeling satisfied and content.

Additionally, my brother insisted that we try the Sopapillas, despite me not being a big dessert person. However, these Sopapillas pleasantly surprised me. The traditional Mexican pastries were fried to a golden crisp and delicately dusted with cinnamon and sugar. As I took a bite, the combination of the crispy exterior and the fluffy interior created a delightful texture. The subtle sweetness of the Sopapillas, coupled with the honey drizzle, added just the right touch to end our meal on a high note. Even for someone like me who isn't typically drawn to desserts, these Sopapillas were a pleasant treat.

I was grateful for my brother's recommendation, and our server, Elizabeth, enhanced our dining experience with her attentive and friendly service. She made sure our needs were met and provided helpful suggestions throughout the meal.

In conclusion, our visit to On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina was a memorable experience. The Grilled Steak Fajitas provided a delicious and satisfying taste, with tender and flavorful steak that was thoroughly enjoyable. The Sopapillas, despite not being a usual dessert choice for me, turned out to be a pleasant surprise, offering a delightful combination of textures and flavors. Combined with the excellent service we received from Elizabeth, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit for anyone in Hot Springs, Arkansas, seeking delicious...

I see a lot of negative feedback on this particular location in Hot Springs, AR & I know why!!! My mother have not eaten here in years & wanted to go since it had been so long. The 1st impression was the lady at the front seating people (she does not belong in this job); no hello & that attitude of "come on so I can get you seated", then no look from her or response when I made a point to acknowledge her on the way out. She portrayed the attitude of "I really don't want to be here." She seated us in the bar section, which is limited seating & seemed everyone that came in was put there (too close to too many ppl for my disorder); 11:30 a.m. & expected more business going in & stayed very slow for about the 1 1/2 hours total we were there, which I found strange for lunch time. The bar tender was having to serve alcohol and take care of a full section on his own (Great guy!). The salsa was way too spicy, the chips are deep fried on site & half of a tortilla shell, which we found out after getting through the top layer that the chips below were full of grease. Plus they SALT THE HELL OUTTA THEIR CHIPS!! (If I want salt on them, there are salt shakers on the table; don't eat these if you can't eat a lot of salt.) As we sat waiting for food, I watched the same lady at the front seating people; she or a coworker had dropped a wrapped set of utinsels on the floor which laid there for 10 min., & then she picked them up & put them in with the clean ones!!.. Now we have food (burrito & chimicanga w/ ground beed). The meat inside was so spicy & it tasted like Chili, not what I expected for our choice of meal. We won't be back even if they offered it...
