Hokkaido Ramen House ( near planet fitness on Central)

after hearing so many rave reviews, I decided to check it out, I'm glad I did

atmosphere : 4/5 very comfortable temperature considering the weather outside. plenty of open comfortable seating.. TV for watching while you briefly wait on your feast.

service : 5/5 service was second to none..ROGER was awesome.. super friendly and knowledgeable..I suspect he might be a bit of a foodie ( a compliment, he's passionate). my water never even made it to half full.

food.: 4.9/5 I admit, I didn't know what to expect I'm not usually into this line of food so i was a little put out about the price until I saw the size of the bowl he ordered the Miso ramen, I ordered the garlic.. admittedly I had to ask them to add more garlic to mine, it seemed kind of bland... but adding garlic was easy enough and really made the difference!

also sitting at the table I saw the cooler full of can drinks and bottled water so I was sitting there thinking no refills.. totally misssed the fountain sodas right next to that LOL, so that was...

This was my first visit to a Roman restaurant, and I was truly impressed with the exceptional quality of the food. The flavors were outstanding, and the portions were very generous. Their crab Rangoon, in particular, was absolutely delicious and made for a wonderful appetizer. 🤗

That said, as we continue moving toward a mostly cashless economy, I no longer carry cash with me. I was a bit caught off guard to find that the restaurant was having a “cash-only” day, and I almost missed out on the opportunity to try something new because of it. I believe it would be very helpful for customers if these cash-only days were clearly communicated in advance, so we can plan ahead and fully enjoy the experience.

Overall, it was a memorable visit, and I look forward to...

I have been waiting with baited breath for this place to open and I am not disappointed! I've had a lot of restaurant ramen over the years and this is very very good, and I think with a little honing it'll get to that 5 star. The egg rolls actually were some of the best I've had. The pork buns fell off a little on quality, simply because the bun was a bit cold and not the nice steamy one you want with this type of dish. I had the garlic ramen and added a beef short rib and all of it was very very good! I'll definitely be back.
