I've been privileged to know the Noshie Family since the late 1970's. Mr. And Mrs. Noshie were one of the most elegant couples l ever met. I recall Mr. Noshie inviting me in many times as l only dreamed of purchasing something from their Beautiful store in the 1100 Milam Building dowtown Houston when l was a Professional Consultant for Tenneco Oil Company. Finally, l was persuaded to enter their lovely facility filled with imported furniture, oriental rugs etc and my life has never been the same! I met Mrs. Noshie, Ziad and Jose'. They treated me like a Queen! I ordered my first Sapphire from them. I appreciated they worked with my budget and offered a Grace and Peaceful Glorious Fellowship that has persevered for decades. Nadia and Beloved Sam came to Memphis Tennessee on occasion to show Amalza's elegant jewelry to friends in the privacy of my parent's home. I've had stunning necklaces, earrings, designed by them. My late PaPa's watch was refurbished for my Mom'Me and my friends covet the gifts l've given them from the Amalza collection. This is a wonder, trustworthy company that genuinely cares about their clients. They show this through actions- not just words! I brought in several priceless pieces a few years ago for cleaning and resizing. From the minute I walked into the store, I knew I was in good hands...they treated me like family and were extremely knowledgable..answering every question I had throughly. The price was fair and the work was beautiful! About 6 months ago, I came in to get a couple of diamonds reset on my ring. its a 100 year old ring and a chain store suggested I do so, as "a couple of the diamonds were about to fall out".

I brought it to Almaza for a second opinion (the only opinion i'd trust). I left it there overnight and when they called me to tell me I could pick it up, they told me the diamonds were NOT about to fall out and the setting was in good shape. I picked up the ring which had been examined and then beautifully cleaned. They didn't charge me anything-- Gestures like this make this company stand out above and beyond from the rest. Family owned, extremely friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Very pleased with our experience. Took in my late grandparents' wedding rings to be resized and replated, so that we can now utilize them and give them a new life, they did a wonderful job servicing the rings. Update: well, I have mixed feelings... I tried the ring on after I picked it up, put it in storage for a few months... then wore it twice, for maybe a total of 2 hours... next thing I know, a diamond goes missing. They did agree to replace the diamond; HOWEVER, the original diamonds are very brilliant and they sparkle beautifully... the diamond they used as a replacement is obviously a mismatch- dull, no shine, it looks oddly situated, too. I'm sad, as I feel this should have never happened. If everything had been checked, how could a total of maybe 2.5 hours of wearing a ring that had never experienced a diamond loss, suddenly... loses a diamond. They claimed to have checked everything over......
