I was super excited about trying out the paddle boats for the first time with my husband when one of the coworkers were unnecessarily rude. When we walked up & asked if they were still open, he dryly said, “We close at 5,” & continued with what he was doing. It was 5:20 at the time & there was one family left paddling. As we walked away understanding that they were clearly closed, another family of a different race walked up & asked the price. The guy who dryly told us they were closed, told the family the price instead of telling them as well that they were closed which insinuated that they were still open. As we slowly walked away, a different employee then informed the family that they were in fact closed already. Environment clean, weather was nice when me and wife came. Decided to go avail pedal boat ticket but wasn’t allowed to because we didnt have the physical ID with us. Its 2024 everything going A.I Digital, we have our Digital IDs on our iPhone Follio walllet but per the receptionist guy at the boat booth they need the physical ID card. This is the first itime it happened to us, we didnt have any problem using our Digital ID everywhere else nor have problem with apple pay.
