For some reason when it came time to sell my first home, I told him I thought I could get more money by cutting him out and selling straight to an investor to avoid paying commissions. Terence obviously disagreed, but he didn’t complain and instead offered to review the paperwork free of charge. He followed through on that and made sure that I wasn’t being taken advantage of in any way (other than the lowball price). Lucky for me, the investor backed out at the last minute.
