I had placed an order for delivery to our hotel and we waited 10 minutes passed the promised delivery time to call and ask about our order and the girl said that the food had been ready but that it’s hard to find drivers so we decided to walk there to pick up our food, we needed our food asap as our daughter just had surgery and was very hungry so we decided to eat it there and I asked if I could get 3 drinks and was still charged $10 for those drinks even though we had to walk to pick up our cold food and risk 1. Having a pre term baby and 2.taking my daughter out at such a vulnerable time after a major surgery.. because I am 8 months pregnant and not feeling the best, and we are here for 2 weeks, we are trying not to do much walking to keep baby in until we get back home to florida. The food was good.. Cold but had good flavor. Now let’s Hope baby can stay put until we get back given contractions every day… oh and not mention, we didn’t receive our dessert. When I asked for it all I got was the cannoli chips, I didn’t get the little cookie dip stuff that’s supposed...

Overall good experience. The staff could do with some customer service, I was not greeted until I reach the cafeteriaesque counter. I was instantly overwhelmed with choices as what to eat. It's an Italian street food place. Staff could have asked if it was my first time, but they did not. I had to ask them what was what. I ended up ordering the carbonara with spicy crispy tossed chicken. I was looking for spicy and lucky the cook was able to describe the chicken as spicy, so I went for it. Very nice selection of dishes, proteins and condiments. A bit pricey but hey downtown right. I asked of an drink and just got a cup for fountain drink which was disappointing as I saw they had natural juices available, but were not offered. I was not asked once if I was fine or needed anything, but I guess they are not used to much dine in. Place us ser up nice for dine in. The food was very good and filling. Portion was nice enough and the free refills are great. Definitely will com back to try other menus items but will not be dining in....

I had an excellent experience at Piada Italian Street Food near the Texas Medical Center in Houston. The chefs, particularly Rachel and Whitney, deserve special recognition for their outstanding work. Their attention to detail and culinary expertise really shines through in every dish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care.

The chefs' friendly demeanor and willingness to accommodate special requests made the dining experience even more enjoyable. It's clear that Piada takes pride in hiring skilled and personable chefs like Rachel and Whitney. Their dedication to creating delicious Italian street food is evident in the quality of the meals they serve.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere, and the staff's positive attitude contributes significantly to the overall dining experience. I highly recommend trying Piada, especially if Rachel and Whitney are in the kitchen. Their talent and passion for Italian cuisine make this place stand out among fast-casual restaurants...

This is my first time eating at this restaurant. I see a lot of Med Center employees with bags from this place. I walked in today, unaware that there was a Valentine's Day promotion. The promotion essentially said five dollars for four selected pasta dishes. There was no documentation of what sizes were included. From the moment I ordered my food all the way to check out the entire staff had an attitude, and seemed very upset for whatever reason. Poor guy behind me received the same attitude and annoyance from them. I called to discuss the matter to the manager Billy who seemed to care less and give me a generic apology. I'll never come back here and I don't care what the hype is about. I'll spend my dollars at the other food places in the medical center. Food was "lukewarm" and nothing to brag about. If you're doing a promotion, PROMOTE IT and be prepared for questions and the like.

I came to Houston for business. After deciding between several places, I decided to come to this place. The restroom and restaurant was clean. The food served quick. The reason for the 1 star is that my food was served cold. When I asked to have it reheated, I got looks of discontent from the staff. Bad customer service not to mention serious and grave violations of food safety which could even be of a fatal situation. Even though it tasted good. I think that at the price the patron should get the food hot and if not served hot at least corrected and an apology be given. No apology was offered or given. So for me it's an automatic failure and deserves no stars. Remember 1 major mess up erase 10 attaboys. The bad thing is I'm am an out of town visitor.

For those who want the point: THE CALAMARI AND PEPPERS WAS AMAZING! FULL of Flavor! And NO skimpy pieces of calamari, nice healthy “chicken finger” sizes. For those who like detail and razzle: We all know the expression about first impression and this Piada locations cook and staff left an amazingly positive one on me! I searched on Google for “Calamari near me” cause that’s what I had a taste for and read someone’s review that it was good. Taking note of the price I was inclined to give them a try. The location was clean and has a beautiful aesthetic. The cook made my order fresh and it took about 5 minutes, maybe less to receive my order. The staff was friendly and quick with orders. Will definitely be back for more Calamari and to try a wrap!
