I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a meal from Alonti Catering & Kitchen at a business owner event hosted by the University of Houston, and I was blown away. At first glance, the packaging resembled something you might see from everyday places like Chick-fil-A or Jason’s Deli, but once I opened the box, I realized this was far from ordinary. The Chicken Florentine was a standout—packaged in aluminum foil and topped with paper to keep it hot. Despite being delivered 45 minutes before I arrived, the meal was still steaming and fresh, with other attendees echoing the same sentiment an hour later! The flavor and seasoning were impeccable, with the chicken being perfectly stuffed with spinach and topped with breadcrumbs, adding a touch of luxury. The potatoes were mouth-watering and seasoned to perfection, providing just the right amount of filling. The fresh green beans were another highlight, with bell peppers adding a lovely burst of flavor. These weren’t canned vegetables; they were fresh and perfectly steamed, making it a healthy yet indulgent option. Alonti truly exceeded my expectations. I initially thought we were getting sandwiches based on the box, which I was fine with, but when I opened it up and saw the quality meal inside, I was so pleasantly surprised. I even skipped conversations just to savor the experience! Although I don’t know the exact pricing since this was part of an event, their website suggests they are affordable, making Alonti a great option for businesses or schools looking to provide quality, hot, and delicious meals. **This review is honored and recognized by ‘Lovely is YOUR Story,’ and I can confidently say Alonti sets the standard for excellence in catering. If you’re looking to surprise your guests with a meal that goes beyond the norm, Alonti is the place to go!**

In a hurry, I grabbed a delicious sandwich from the icebox and checked out. The taste of shame and guilt, though, tainted the flavor of the chicken salad. Alonti, please get rid of that ridiculous default tip for fast food cashiers. Pay your people. Brag about it by saying, “No tips. We pay our people.” It’s just so unnecessarily awkward. It takes away from an otherwise delicious sandwich.

Alonti is one of my favorite places to eat. I haven’t been since they closed the one in the Greenspoint Business District. I can tell you they did not disappoint on the chicken tequila, it’s was our nostalgia 🫶🏼 the best ever!

Love this café - it has delicious food and a lot of great options. However, the last time I was there, I got there a little before closing time, and due to the large number of other people in the table area finishing up their food (of which there still were many when I left), I figured it was okay to stick around for a few minutes after closing. The employee cleaning the floors (white man with an orange cap) kept giving me dirty looks, and then shoved a chair so hard into my leg that it hurt for quite a bit afterward. He never said anything to me about it either - if he had asked me to leave because it was closing time, I would have left. The interaction felt extremely hostile with no apology afterwards - this person caused me genuine pain and definitely soured me on returning to this café...

I stopped in the cafe recently and I had to leave a review because the manager there was horrendous. A, Celia Aguilar, was the rudest individual I've ever met. I also have to point out that I saw her interacting with her employees and I have never seen a manager speak as badly to their employees. I cannot believe she's been a manager for this company for so many years without her causing the company to be sued for her blatantly...
