Worst staff.. shady business tactics... personal training sales manager (Kevin) tricked me to sign 12 months contract even after asking him more than 4 times that I do not want any contract. He assured me that this is not a contract and told me that I can cancel the program any time without advanced notice( he did not mention anything about fee to cancel the program) . I even asked him about possibility of canceling it after 2 or 3 months and he assured me I can cancel it with out any problem. At the time of enrollment I have not received a copy of the agreement( which they were supposed to provide per their checklist )and the copy I have received through email was blank . He did not even showed the computer screen and did not explained the terms and conditions when asked me to sign the contact and asked me to sign on a tiny digital signature panel. Now I am stuck with 1 year contact ($180 per month) and the cancelation fee is 50% of remaining term. Initially I was hesitated to join personal training program but one day Kevin called me saying that he will give me extra complimentary sessions per month and he also told me that I have to join the program on the same day to get the offer. He even told me that he will put me into the program if I authorize( to charge my card which they have on file for the first month fee and application fee ) over the phone and asked me to come and sign the documents in the evening. Now I want to cancel the training program but their staff and corporate customer service does not want to help me since they have the correct. I even told them that I will pay the remaining amount ($1800) and asked them to transfer it to regular gym membership so that I can use the gym instead of personal training but they rejected this proposal as well saying that membership and personal training are...
Read moreThis gym has thieves who break into cars and then their cameras don’t even work once you file a police report. It seems like the people at the front desk don’t even care about your car if someone breaks into it they act like it’s normal and the manager omg he is absolutely the worst (the black manager just so they know which manager nothing racial) he is very rude . The area there is full of thieves it’s not safe and they don’t have a security guard. So if you go in and come out like I did you will end up paying $300 to fix your car window because someone removes the vent window with a crowbar messing up the metal and breaking the glass. They even took the glass with them after they tried to steal my 2023 Chrysler Pacifica touring mini van at 9 AM in the morning in daylight and the sun was out, it was underneath a camera right in the front row of the gym parking lot and that camera did not work when the police came and went inside to speak with the manager.
And then they act like it’s nothing. I don’t recommend this place. They even peep in your car you will see their fingerprints trying to see if there’s anything they can steal. I was sitting in my car and I saw a group of very short Hispanic young men one evening who comes to the gym and they look like they were casing the parking lot before they went in to see cars that might attract their interest. They need a security guard and they have a seal team that comes sit in his car by McDonald’s for 15 minutes and then leaves not safe here not at all. I went to other La Fitness and they have no security and they also have broken glass from car windows in their parking lots and they don’t even go out and sweep it up. Read moreThis gym used to be a nice gym roughly 6 months ago but ever since then it has gone downhill drastically! To start, the # of memberships has nearly tripled in 6 months and it was busy to begin with. It is very difficult to find a parking spot at any time of day, Iet alone find a machine to work on. This gym is now so focused on getting new members, that the actual gym functions are falling by the wayside. The equipment (treadmills, ellipticals and weight machines) are routinely broken and take months to fix. The machines are greasy and sweaty which is an understatement (please see the disgusting, dripping sweaty treadmill picture that no one cleaned up). Now at over maximum compacity, this should be factored in for staff to be wiping these machines down multiple times a shift instead of just once a day during after hours. Towel service would be nice too since the paper towels are always gone. The dumbbells are scattered everywhere and never put back into place. I mean, is there even a manager at this gym? If so, it sure would be nice for them to start setting it up. The classes are jammed full so you run into each other. They need to add more classes during the night hours. In the locker room by the bathroom area there is no AC and feels like steamy 1000 degrees. I know this is a structural issue but I'm sure you wouldn't like feeling like you're going to pass out every time business calls. Let's come up with a solution... I've been to all of the other LA's in the area and none of them are like this. It's sad because this is the newest club and it has become a trash hole. Overall, looking past all these things I do push myself to get a good workout in. This gym is sacrificing quality over quantity.
