I was recommended to come here for the barbacoa in which I was told was one of the best. I was disappointed to see that one of the attendants was wearing gloves to handle raw pork and serve cooked food. He didn't bother to change the gloves when it came to touching prepared cooked meat. This action was disgusting and inappropriate.
This is section 14 of the food code violation, which reads.
Cross-contamination Using hands, utensils, and other surfaces that touched raw food to also touch produce, cooked foods, or other types of meats is a terrific way to spread salmonella and E. coli, and get a health code violation.
This action seems that this occurs on a daily basis to get things done faster and not efficiently and safely. I will follow up with the FDA to see how to follow up on this incident. I will not be coming here in the near future as such lack of safety practices are ignored...
