Dr. Linda Nachmani Central Foot and Ankle
This place is a wreck. I first went to Dr. Nachmani over 3 months ago. I was fitted for orthotics on the 23 of November. I was told it would be two or three weeks. The Doctor said I was pre approved for the devices. Yet she required a $100.00 deposit. They said I would be refunded the deposit when I picked up the orthotics. I told her if my insurance was not going to cover the devices that I did not want them. Thus a deposit would not be required. Said it was a office policy and they would not order the orthotics without it.
Ok, it is now TWO months and I still have not received my devices or a refund. I have verified my insurance paid on December 23rd. I have called twice and the Office Manager has told me both times that the Christmas rush was heavy and it is late because Fed Ex is slowed up. This comment was made on January 11th. OBSURD
On the first visit they made me piss into a cup. I asked why and they said they wanted to see what drugs were in my system. THEY DRUG TESTED ME, then they sent me out for a Blood Test. What The Hell? This is totally shady.
The Office Manager is neither professional or courteous. She has told me she would call me back with the status of my Rx but I have never heard from her.
The office is grungy. I mean, it's like a step back in time. Dark, yellow linoleum, mid century furnishings that show their wear. Not clean at all. In the very small waiting room there is a rack of shows that must be at least 30 years old.
Dr. Nachmani will spend as little time as possible with you and actually works multiple patients at the same time. At no time did I feel she was interested in me ...I feel all she was doing is running a "mill" churning through as many patients as possible and make as much money as possible without really practicing medicine.
If I had known all this I would have NEVER gone...
Read moreThe worst experience!! DO NOT USE THIS Doctor (at least that is what she calls herself). She hardly even touched or looked at my foot. Ordered custom made inserts and told me that I needed to pay $ 200 in deposit. I told them that I did not want the inserts unless my insurance would cover, and they said that was fine. No Insurance, no inserts AND I would get my deposit back.Okay, no harm done, I thought. Paid the deposit and left. They would let me know. I called a couple of times and checked but could not get straight answer if my insurance would cover..they kept telling me that it most likely would, but had not gotten confirmation. The inserts came and I took them home with hopes that Insurance would cover as the staff told me was most likely and I could get rid of my pain. Well the inserts do NOT FIT in any of my shoes...work or running shoes and the insurance did not cover, so now I am stuck with the bill, a set of useless inserts too wide to fit in any shoes and still pain in my foot. DO NOT USE...
Read moreIt wasn't Dr. Nachmani who ruined my big toes, it was the other. This has been atleast 5years, but since google review is more commonly used now I feel that this is a good place to comment. My husband and I have both been victims of this doctor. She rapidly performed an ingrown toenail procedure on me that left me with constant hang nails and leftover toenail that has nothing to grasp onto. My husband went under the knife for a bunion procedure that left his foot looking exactly the same. We held onto the hope that what the doctor said would be true. "It will take some time to see the difference, since everything is swollen right now." Not! He suffers from toe cramps constantly and his bunion area still protrudes from the side. We were hounded for bills we paid. So many details to this story, but this is the...
