Calling all foodies! I recently had the most incredible dining experience at an upscale Tex Mex restaurant, the new Cyclone Anaya’s Westheimer location, and I couldn't wait to share it with all of you! Prepare your taste buds for a journey filled with delicious flavors, exquisite presentations, and a dining space that can only be described as exquisite. Let me start by saying that every bite I took was a burst of pure culinary joy. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles (the host, staff, and management) and a cozy ambiance that set the perfect atmosphere for a memorable lunch. Now, let's talk about the food! The menu was a mouthwatering adventure, offering a wide range of Tex Mex delights that catered to all taste preferences. From sizzling fajitas to zesty enchiladas, each dish was artfully prepared using the freshest ingredients, and the flavors were out of this world! Their brisket tacos are my absolute favorite. One thing that truly blew me away was the attention to detail in every plate. Each dish was beautifully plated, almost too pretty to eat! The vibrant colors, the artistic arrangements, and the thoughtfully garnished plates were simply awe-inspiring. It was like a work of art that I got to devour. Not only was the food incredible, but the service was also top-notch. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the cuisine they served. Our server, Sydney, went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and had an unforgettable dining experience. So, if you're on the hunt for a place that combines upscale dining, mouthwatering Tex Mex flavors, and a beautiful setting that will make your heart skip a beat, look no further! This restaurant has it all and more. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Be sure to tell your fellow food lovers below and make plans to visit Houston’s newest gem ASAP. Your taste buds will thank you, and you'll leave with a belly full of happiness!

It was our first time stopping by the new Cyclone Anaya's in River Oaks off Westheimer. It was everything that we needed on a Friday night after a long weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek. I love the complimentary valet on-site, although the parking lot is manageable. Plus, it wasn't super packed in the evening, so we just walked in without any reservations necessary. Our waiter, Sull / Suyl, was amazing! It was her birthday, the day we visited, and she ensured that we had a swell customer service experience from the moment we stepped through the door until we left. The foot was *chef's kiss* 💋🤌🏾, quickly making this my go-to Tex-Mex spot after my visit. I ordered the enchiladas while my partner opted for quesadillas. And, of course, you can't forget the margaritas, but sadly, these margs were pretty forgettable. As a margarita connoisseur, I don't think alcohol was in the drink. It could've passed for a mocktail. So, my only feedback would be to work on the margins, especially for people who love a marg every once in a while (or every day, this is a no-judgment zone, lol). Thanks, CA; we will definitely be back. --signed the marg-connoisseur

This location is relatively new, and it is a great addition to the neighborhood. The restaurant is big and has a small outdoor seating area. Once seated, my table was given a complimentary bowl of chips with salsa. Aside from the regular lunch menu, brunch menu is available on the weekends from 11am to 3pm. I ordered the ahi tuna tacos with the tamarind glazed brussel sprouts and refried black beans as sides. My tacos were amazing. The soft tacos were nicely done, and the vegetables and tuna were fresh. The sauce on the tacos was amazing too. I highly recommend the Brussel sprouts. They were insanely good. When in a Tex-Mex restaurant, it is a must to have a glass of margarita. I got The Super Cyclone on the rocks which had the right balance of flavors. My party received excellent service today. Our server, Rafa, checked on us periodically and he was so kind to let my party of four to split checks. My party had a great dining experience. I’m sure I will be back. There is complimentary valet parking but self parking is also available in the big parking lot.

We wanted to try authentic Tex-Mex and I have to say, this place is legit! We checked out Yelp for recommended places close to our hotel and after the third try, we ended here. Jazz was our server and she was awesome! She asked if this was our first time, and we said yes, and wanted to try some authentic tex-mex dishes. She was very helpful with the menu and offered a number of recommendations. We don't drink but wanted to try some of their delicious mocktails - I had a a drink that was a delicious mix of crushed berries - so yummy! We ordered fresh guacamole which she prepared at our table - chunky and fresh! That was something that was so filling. We had the Cyclone combo-Summer Special that was full of fresh salad and a crunchie taco - OMG!! Loved the rice, black beans & the chalupa! Another family member ordered the Del Rio with two sides -black beans & Mexican rice. To top all this, we loved the flan. I was already too full but had a bite and will definitely order this first! Servings are generous so come hungry!! Jazz thanks for helping us with our order and being attentive to our refills. Come and check this place out!! Drinks look amazing and if it's like to mocktails we had, you are definitely in...
