This dreamy place will offer you everything you want and more! --Parking is located in the back.-- There are several studio rooms that are all on the second floor.
Ooh where do I start? They had me when I walked in and smelled the amazing, intoxicating incense with one of the owners greeting me, Jennifer Yuhas, who is so friendly and a cute, white ganesh statue at the entrance....the place is such a vibe really!
Instructors are friendly, attentive, offer assistance and each have their own unique teaching style. They do not judge and have amazing attention to detail. I also love that they emphasize breathing. You will connect with them instantly.
*You will achieve your fitness goals. I know I've lost inches in just one month. I feel leaner. I eat better. I sleep better. 'Nuff said.
They offer a variety of classes so whether you need a soft, gentle stretch on a lazy Sunday morning or a strength work out on a Wednesday -- they have it all. I especially love restorative yoga.
The communication is great - they will know your name, offer you support and if you need to cancel, you do get both an e-mail and text confirmation (if its 2 hours or more prior, you will be reassured that you are not going to be charged).
*They treat everyone with the same respect and care. This is huge. I have been to maaaany studios since....2012/2013-ish and I noticed instructors offering support and attention to certain people. I assure you, this does not happen at The Atrium.
Some instructors that really stood out to me (although they are all amazing) were Jennifer, Austin, Gabby and Mathew. I have been told Madonna is super awesome, however I have not had the opportunity to try her classes yet.....that is on the list though!
Oh, The Atrium, you...
Read moreI’ve been taking private lessons at The Atrium Yoga with Nicole, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience. I’m completely in love with it.
Nicole is incredible—so attentive, so knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me grow in my practice. She pays close attention to every detail, gently corrects my form when needed, and makes sure that I’m learning and moving in a way that supports my body. I always feel safe, supported, and encouraged in her classes.
As someone living with fibromyalgia, movement can be tricky—and honestly, intimidating. But since starting yoga with Nicole, my body feels stronger, more open, and more at ease than it has in years. Her approach is thoughtful and intuitive, and she’s helped me find a flow that feels both healing and empowering. I leave every session feeling better—physically and mentally.
Also? The space itself is a dream. The Atrium is so calm, so clean, and so beautifully designed—it instantly puts you in a peaceful headspace. It truly feels like a sanctuary in the middle of the city.
If you’re considering private yoga or just looking for a studio that honors the mind-body connection, this is the place. I can’t imagine my life...

I moved back to Houston in 2013 and I have BEEN WAITING for a yoga HOME. I was lost and now am found. Located off of Westheimer, you walk into an unassumingly peaceful building only to be greeted warmly by the yoga instructors who take the time to talk to you and get to you know you- when you get into the actual yoga space you will be flooded with sun light glistening through the large oak trees which encompass the perimeter. I must say all the yoga instructors are simply fantastic- Jen and Madonna have created a strong down to earth culture at their studio - I leave with a good work out and deep sense of connection to myself. I crave my sessions at the Atrium and feel WHOLE every time I leave. My favoriate jam is going in on a Tuesday at 4 pm- doing a restorative + meditation class followed by a flow class- I literally leave feeling like I went to the spa- I am a...
