My husband and I went her to celebrate our anniversary and this was an amazing experience. When we walked in we were met with a sweet owner that was funny, charming and set the tone for our experience. We asked some questions about the menu and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. After ordering we went to sit down outside and the table side service was amazing, the waiter was something out of a cartoon, hardly spoke a word but was proactive in our service refilling our teas, moving the heater closer to us. Then we had amazing salad, raviolis, and seasonal menu item all were amazing! (We are amateurs at make homemade Italian food but we are learning what’s authentic or not). Then we went to order the dessert which my husband is not much of a dessert guy and the cashier once again exceeded our expectations after what we asked for affogato was out of stock, when our chocolate dessert was brought out he surprised us with another one to try that paired. Then to finish it off another waiter noticed we were taking a Polaroid and came over to take it for us! We were so thoroughly impressed, everything was great, restaurant was clean. We can’t wait...
Read moreI have to be fair in my review. I did not dine in, I ordered to go and I understand that with fresh pasta that can be a totally different experience. It was my first time and the restaurant looked clean and well kept, the staff I encountered were very courteous. I ordered 3 entrees but the most disappointing one was the $31 Fettuccine Alfredo. There was absolutely no alfredo sauce! I basically paid for a plate of noodles and a chicken breast. The bolognese was about the same. The meat is chopped so fine it is almost like a dog food texture and no flavor at all. The vongole was actually pretty good. All the pastas tasted fresh and homemade, just lacking sauce of any kind other than the vongole. I have never been to Italy so I can't vouch for the authenticity but it seemed to be about like other italian places I have been, nothing that special. As I said, it may be a totally difference experience if I would have dined in, but if your taking to go, check your pasta before you leave, as you may want to order more sauce to take with you. Eighty Five dollars for three entrees of pasta is pretty steep to not be happy with...
Read moreWonderful quaint restaurant located in a modern building. The layout is charming. You walk in the entryway and order your food. Tables run the length of the windows and you feel like you are in a small NY restaurant.
The staff was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end! Had a wonderful dinner of some of the best Italian food I've ever eaten. The pasta carbanara (made like it is supposed to be - without Alfredo sauce) was the best I've ever had! The depth of flavor from 4 simple ingredients is mind-bending. Perfect ratios of ingredients made every bite a delicious flavor explosion. The bolognese my sister had was great also. You could tell it was cooked the traditional way, no shortcuts. The Ceasars salad dressing was spot on, not so overpowering like so many restaurants do these days, but just a smooth and flavorful dressing.
I cannot say enough good things, great food, great people making you feel like you showed up at a relatives house for a meal and affordable prices. I'll be...
