DON'T MOVE HERE!!!!!
Update: These people are so unserious. Kira (property manager) literally didn’t not allow me to properly state my case without continually interrupting me being defensive. I literally had to tell her to let me finish my sentences. It’s Day 10 still without any running water, the oven doesn’t get hot, the stove doesn’t get hot, and the fridge doesn’t get cold. The leak or whatever is going on still hasn’t been fixed and all they could do was put more holes in my walls and water damage starting to show on the walls. I literally can’t eat properly cause most food needs refrigeration. And I can’t even use canned goods or any of that stuff because I can’t use the stove. I pretty much have to go out of my way to eat out and buy microwavable food I’m spending more money that I need to spend on things as a college student. My body can’t take it anymore and this is not my lifestyle. I’m starting to become sick because of this living situation. Their urgency here is literally zero and the fact that they move me into a unit that they knew the stuff doesn’t work as if there isn’t 8 plus vacant units here.
Original: I just moved here July 31st and I still don't have running water. The leasing people and maintenance are nice so far, but I'm tired of having to see there faces an unnecessary amount of times.
On the 31st around 3:00pm, I was told that things were going to get fixed. I left to go to my old apartment and when I arrived back at 10:00pm, guess what, same problems
On the 1st of August I went to the desk and told Sarah everything I had issues with. They said they would let maintenance know. I left for the day by 1:50pm and when I arrived back at 10:30pm. SAME ISSUE
TODAY I WAKE UP AT 7:11am AND I STILL DON’T HAVE RUNNING WATER.
Now it’s 2:22 and now all they can do is put more holes in my wall like really. And I had to ask multiple times like bro I’m at work having to beg for basic living quality. What am I paying $1400+ for then.
Upon moving, my water wasn’t running, refrigerator wasn't cold, oven and stove aren’t working and it's missing racks, washer broken and there were live spiders and small dead bugs throughout the premesis. There is a hole in the walls, space between the cabinets, etc
Now all is happening is more holes that are gonna take forever to cover and paint causing me more inconvenience. This is so...
Read moreStay away from here if you can. Truly. Not professional. Not reliable. Terrible communication. Will not respond to questions, calls or email in a timely and professional manner. Likely an element of scamming also happening here.
Property manager, Sarah, when we met her to discuss touring and available units, was so uninformed that she couldn't ascertain what floor a unit was on based on its number (I was moving in from out of state and even in my research learned that the second number corresponds to the floor). She overall seemed scattered and lacking in knowledge.
I completed my app with immediate approval, was assigned a unit and NEVER GIVEN A LEASE. For ONE MONTH, sent emails and made calls as did my real estate agent. I was one week out from my cross-country move without a lease and getting the run around and realized that I was going to show up and these guys were going to act a fool so immediately searched for another place and signed a lease somewhere else ( City Park in the Heights- They were amazing on short notice and excellent with communication and professionalism. Also the community seems safer).
The most ridiculous aspect of this was Sarah calling me (finally) TWO DAYS AFTER my proposed move-in date to the unit and basically saying " Hey , what's up?". Like, girl you didn't even give me a lease despite me calling every two days. How are you going to call me when I am already moved in somewhere else playing dumb.
Losing $250 was a small sacrifice in the grand scheme considering how unprofessional these guys are. Can't imagine my concerns being addressed while living in the unit. Also, the news reports about shootings and drug deals happening in this community was also disconcerting.
Would not recommend. Steer clear of Sarah. Plenty of other...
Read moreUpdate: It’s now 2025, and we’re finally preparing to move out — we simply can’t take the constant noise from the upstairs neighbor anymore. The noise issues have persisted since last year. We repeatedly reported it to the leasing office, but nothing has been resolved.
The previous leasing manager once dismissed my concerns by saying the noise was “just vacuuming.” She was visibly impatient and kept interrupting me before I could even finish explaining the situation. But let’s be honest, I know what vacuuming sounds like. What I’ve been hearing is bass, drums, yelling, and stomping clearly and repeatedly.
I’ve never wanted to start conflict with my neighbors or waste time going back and forth with management about noise complaints. But over the past year, my sleep quality has significantly declined due to this ongoing disturbance. I have recorded over 100 audio clips on my phone recording the noise. But I’m not comfortable sharing private sounds on a public platform, I do have video evidence that clearly illustrates the problem.
My lease starts in 2023, and I submitted my renter's insurance to the apartment as soon as I moved in. However, the apartment has been charging me $25 per month for the insurance they provide. This insurance should be paid by people who do not provide insurance to the apartment, not people like me who have provided valid renter's insurance. Since the apartment changed the property team, the efficiency of handling things has become lower. I hope that such problems will not occur again in the future, and that the extra money I pay every month will be...
