Lissette came to my home for a newborn/family session and let me tell y’all my husband and I are so impressed with the professionalism, organization and the patience she had in preparation for and during our whole newborn/family session. Not once did she make us or my baby feel rushed. I was really nervous about my baby’s newborn session since she was over a month, 7 weeks to be exact. I was worried my baby would get fussy during the session or not cooperate to position her for newborn pictures since mostly other photographers say newborn pictures should be taken the first few weeks of life for a better outcome. Unfortunately, not everyone has a smooth delivery, some people have complications, C-sections (me) which include weeks of recovery time and like my baby we had to stay in the NICU so we were not able to get newborn pictures within the first few weeks of life. Lissette understands that and since the beginning when I reached out to see if it was possible to do a newborn session at 7 weeks she told me that she most definitely could work with us and that the age of my baby was not a problem for her. Sure enough she made it work at 7 weeks of life, took her time and got beautiful shots of my baby girl! I’m so glad I found her, I almost didn’t get any newborn pictures because I thought my baby had surpassed the “time frame” for a newborn session. As a first time mother who is learning all things with her newborn there’s nothing better than to finding a kind, patient and understanding photographer that works well with your family and you. As well as incorporates your wishes for your session. I can tell she genuinely cares about all aspects of her work as she pays so much attention to even the smallest detail. Lissette is an exceptional photographer with the kindest heart and I can’t recommend her enough. We booked her services for both our maternity and newborn sessions. During our first booking she did amazing work and we knew we needed to book her for our newborn.

She was communicative throughout the whole process and made us feel confident about our investment in her work. She met with us beforehand to make sure she understood what we wanted and shared her ideas which made the experience much easier for us! Lissette was also flexible with us when we needed accommodations due to our changing circumstances as a family.

During our newborn sessions, we saw how she was so delicate and caring towards our baby. And she got the most beautiful pictures!!!

Additionally, we mentioned to Lissette that our dog is very special to us, but because she is so skittish we were concerned that we were not going to be able to include her in our pictures. From the beginning Lissette optimistically assured us that she would do her best to have our dog in the pictures.
